Happy New Year to All!

Wow…I simply can’t believe tomorrow is New Year. Damn, time gone faster than before or it is because the earth is turning too fast or what? First of all, I would like to wish you all visitors and readers a Happy New Year. It will be another year of struggle for me and I have to settle my debt as soon as possible on my friend side which is what I worried the most. Thanks to my freaking car broke down on me at the end of September. My entire months of 2008 suck big time. Hope it will be a good start for me.

 

Bad news first, just last weeks ago. According to Brudirect local news site, there are rumors about the Governments going to apply tax in the country soon. Nobody knows until now what kind of tax we might expect and not to mention which systems they are trying to follow. My guess (guess only) is either UK or Singapore system. This is going to look bad for those of us who have a low paid salary every month. I don’t mind paying taxes but the questions are how fair the price we are going to get.

 

The good news is I won a prize from a survey contest at Choiix Company. That was unexpected Christmas gift from the internet. I’m not sure what type of notebook bag I might be getting. It would be interested to check out the features next month once it arrived at my post or home.

 

Once again, Happy New Year to everyone and hope you all enjoy tomorrow holiday. Mine? Nothing more than a lonely guy spends his time at home playing game and watching movies. ^^;;

Last Online Item Finally Arrived

Ebay is always a wonderful place to look for bargains and some collection stuffs. Last month, I decided to try out buying hard to find PC game called Supreme Commander Gold Edition at Google search. My search results are always ended up in Ebay and I just go ahead open a new account continue looking for best bargain I could get from around the world. Of course, before I buy. I did do some research and learn tips before buying anything in Ebay. Although the only question still remains on my mind if you really can trust the short comments listed in the seller information are created by them or groups. I’m not sure how the today rules and the system have improved so far. But another lookout is also the power rating of the seller is important, according to Ebay.

 

 

Anyway, I ended up in barginclozit store and the game prices are really bargains. I place my order and waited at least three weeks to arrive in my post from US. The only complained about the priority shipping service is the USPS that do not update it’s tracking and so the risk of losing it is quite high. You should pay another US$2.00 to insured the items if the seller using USPS services. To my surprise is that the game is brand new and seal. I am currently playing the game and I addicted for many days without updating my blog and forget about the Christmas day.

Finally! Video Card Replacement Arrived!

 

Yahoooo!!! My new replacement card finally arrived from Taiwan. Thanks to Palit, willing to replace a new one for me. I spend a few hours doing the cable management and final test all my hardware before making sure everything is good to go for Vista installation. After that, there will be cleaning and tidying my room. Thanks to the fucking ants damaging my wall and trying to start their new home. Hate these insects the most.

 

Anyway, I forget tomorrow something about Chinese special days. ^^;;;

Skip Beat!

I think I haven't done any post for Anime for a long time. Maybe I enjoy watching too much lately forget to include in my blog. Anyway, there are a lot of good and bad anime this year. Mostly, I myself prefer mecha and science fiction like stories a lot. I do like anime drama too, but it's not many and is too much children’s like. Not to mention, it's not meant for kids to watch nowadays which a bit more erogo and sexual content have included in the scene. I personally don't find it great to watch anymore. Good stories and comedy is what I want in Drama.

 

I remember two of the best dramas I favor two years ago are Welcome to the NHK! and Ghost Hunt. Both of them are really good and the stories are well written. And now this year, I finally found another one, the Skip Beat! The anime is off based from the popular manga book and started airing on October this year. There will be 25 Episode according to the information.

Weekend Holiday Hoot for December!

I went to the capital with my family and cousin for weekend window shopping on last Sunday. Our first plan destination is the mall in Gadong. I didn’t really expect the shopping over there is quite boring now except there were some computer booths set up fill with crowds. Lucky me, it was a good opportunity first seeing the ACER gaming Predator and the high-end LCD display over there. I have to say the plastic quality build of the case looks pretty good and the design doesn’t seem that bad either. However, the downsides for my opinion are because it made of plastic and easily fill with dust. The LCD display was not bad either when it comes with fast response time and the brightness looks sharp. In the end, both of them are simply just too expensive for such setup. If you have cash to spare, get yourself a custom build.

I also drop by in Bits Computer booth getting a China cheap notebook cooler for very low price B$6.00. I have been thinking for a while getting one for years and I totally missed out the good one at AC Ryan back in Singapore PC Fair. This time, I decided to grab one without thinking so much because I’m just going to used it for my wireless router and internet modem. A little bit of advice, Kingston memory cards and USB storage does come with 5 years warranty. You should be very careful on fake copy brand.

After that, I spend B$7.00 for donuts set which contains six pieces from Fun Donuts shop in the Mall. It was quite delicious and my grandmother likes eating the Green tea donut favor which has less sugar in it. I recommended to everyone for afternoon tea and parties.

 

Next stop, we headed to Kiulap Mall. Damn boring and lots of shops closed over there. Without wasting much time, we then went straight over to the Hua Ho department store. I was at first expecting I might able to get the Network tester in Kiulap. No luck at all and just applied for Hua Ho discount card for $5.00 before heading to next Hua Ho store at another location. Well, luck was actually on my side and I was able to get two Neng Shou Network testers for B$4.30 each. Muahahaha…it was damn cheap and I decided to grab two of them before it runs out. It was an important tool requires being able use at work and especially when I was onsite. If you are looking cheap network tester, go shop in Hua Ho as they sell some of the computer accessories in very cheap price and of course, it was China made.

 

 

All and all I spend at least B$28.6 on weekend shopping. It was a bit sad when I am experience some money issue this year and thinking trying not to spend so much. I guess as long I am spending for something that can used in daily life and work. I don’t think it was a waste in the end. Happy shopping to everyone!

Western Digital Confirm 3 Years Warranty in Brunei

If you are terrible unlucky your hard disk drive busted after six month local warranty and cannot be replaced. No worried and don’t lost your hope yet. Don’t simply gave the old hard disk away or dump into the rubbish bin before you confirm the warranty statues is still valid from the official website. I got an opportunity to submit the serial number I got from the customers who brought in local shop and confirm Western Digital offer 3 years limited warranty for Brunei.

 

Please do note that the warranty for any Western Digital desktop, mobile or external hard drive selling in Brunei does not hold exactly 3 years warranty and might already over more than 3 to 6 month depending on their stock. For example, this screenshot below show one of my customers who brought the WD mobile 160GB HDD limited warranty is from 12th October 2008 until 12th October 2010 stated in the official site which he originally brought this month.

 

 

I don’t really blame the local shops for offering such warranty for their products because this is all depending on distributors marketing system. Also, I’m not trying to pour cold water on the local PC shops for not telling truth to the customers. This is business and even if you buy from other country like Singapore and Malaysia. Those folks over there will only provide one to one exchange within two weeks or maximum one month is the longest I know so far. After that, they will or you will have to RMA and send back to the local manufacturers in the end. But they are much easier and faster I have to say.

 

Due to the economics is uncertain in Brunei, I'm sure everyone wanted to saved your money for getting new one. If you wanted to tried warranty yourself, make sure you visit the WD warranty check and confirm you still have the replacement on the official site. Read the shipping and packing instructions BEFORE you pack the hard disk, and then you register the RMA form. All else, 30 days count will start and charges will be applied if they did not received it. Don't worry about the shipping information as it will be provided, if not, check this page. Hope my information can be useful to all fellow Bruneian to saved little more money.

My Seagate Warranty Is Back!

 

Finally, I got it today from UPS delivery. I am glad my trip to Singapore was not a waste. If you buy a hard disk drive or any portable storage, make sure you check your warranty directly in any manufacturer official site for details for Brunei. I have a source out there telling me that that Western Digital hard disk are actually carrying three year warranty, but the local decided to sell for six month warranty to ensure their stock can be easily clear.

 

My advices to all local buyers to check the warranty carefully so that you won’t have to spend another hard earn money for a new one. If you can warranty yourself through the online, I don’t see why not spend a little on the packaging box and postage. I done mine, I pack myself and only pay for B$4.20 dollar only for postage and registering.

 

 

The only problem I see is the hard disk will be sent to repair instead of new one, like the picture above showing a sticker labelling “Seagate Certified Repair”. This is actually normal, both Malaysia and Singapore local PC shop will definitely asked you to warranty yourself if the one to one exchange warranty they offer is over. For example like two weeks or one month. Only in Brunei, they will offer six month one to one. However, the only different is Singapore and Malaysia have their own factory centre, so they are much easier sending for warranty.

 

Anyway, I tested mine on my PC still not working. Only other PC works fine which I don’t really understand why mine doesn’t work. Well, got to wait for another video card replacement to arrived next week before using the new portable drive.

The Terror Living In North Korea

I just drop by to The Weird Asia News. I am still loading the video and going to watch it later after bath. This is the most terrifying story about how the people currently suffer in North Korean. This really worth watching and reading. I will only post the prison camp 10 rules.

Cousin Patrina Wedding

 

It was a big day for another cousin, Patrina, finally married to her boyfriend, Henry. I am happy for both of them. Yesterday morning was quite a rush to the place when the wedding starts at early morning around 7.30 am. I was pretty late and couldn’t manage to take a photo with her in her wedding dress. I only manage to grab a picture with her in lunch time. It was the busiest wedding I have attended.

 

I feel really bad about myself not buying a good camera to take pictures. My budget Canon PowerShot A710 IS digital camera served me well for two years now and I am able to take advantage with its features. I still felt so badly myself I could take a beautiful and lively picture of my cousin for memories. I am going to saved and get a professional digital version for next year after my PC upgrade. Anyway, I upload the best shots in my Facebook.

First Hobby Search Online Ordering

 

This is my first order 1/100 Gundam Double OO, Kotobukiya latest 1/144 Hand Unit A and B from Hobby Search. It took only less than a week to arrive. I predict it might delay due to the holiday and Christmas so near. But it was originally suppose to be no order on November but it somehow my email did not reach the sales for cancellation last two month. And because of this, I am now dealing with another blow on my debt this month and if I cancel during the shipment process, I will definitely get 20% charge for cancellation fee which is not worth it.

 

I hate to say this, Hobby Search cancelling system is very bad and I doesn’t like a bit which is worst than Hobby Link Japan (HLJ). You can cancel anytime you want without question if you made a mistake on the orders or stop buying it if you having some financial problem. In Hobby Search, you have to contact them to cancel it. What annoy me is they will ask you again for confirmation. The only thing that HLJ can’t compare with them is the point system. You gain point by buying their stuffs and used it for discounts. I have not tried it since this is my first purchase, but I really do hope the points might help me with the discount.

The New Whole Red Alert 3

I wonder how many of you are C&C fans in UGAME? I pre-order the Red Alert 3 Premium Edition last month and already arrived in my post. I have to say I am very disappointed because EA has made an empty promise about a free RA3 game instead I gotten a RA3 T-shirt and a 2GB ugly pen drive. But I am better than the others because there are lots of buyers out there don’t even have a single free game and extra items like mine above. The previous best C&C collections I got are Razer Death Adder (EA version) mouse and Razer mouse pad including t-shirts from Command & Conquer 3 and Kane Wrath with very good bargains. Not sure what happen to EA these days the bundle and limited version becoming non attractive anymore.

My In-Game Single Player Experience

Red Alert 3 has change quite a lot compared to Red Alert 2 and this time the game developers offer a new feature by introducing a co-op option to play with computer or your friends and family on network on any missions. The game play is short in all three fractions and it took me at least five days to finish the entire mission. It’s quite disappointing as you don’t find any extra or optional mission to enjoy with. Every mission I encounter is mostly rushes and fight against with the time limit. I wonder what’s wrong with the EA game developers nowadays. More like they run out of ideas making good game instead of focusing on selling.

 

My In Game Multiplayer Experience

I have to say it’s quite disappointing at first. Problem connecting to server and patching progress causes so much frustration among the gamers when the game first launch. After they releases four multiplayer fix patches online. The multiplayer now works great. However, I still experiencing disconnection from matching from time to time and I don’t like the player’s chat room. Nevertheless, EA is now working a big patch to fix and change the multiplayer soon.

 

Conclusion

Sometimes I do not really understand why Command & Conquer and Red Alert do not include the extra button mode for patrolling? If you remember playing General game, they actually include it and it makes the units much more useful for defending and using against incoming enemies. Why didn’t they want to include in Red Alert 3 this time? I having a hard time defending my base because of the unit idle a lot and even on air. I sometimes feel hard to maintain my defending and offense at the same time playing with AI. Of course, in multiplayer, that was a different story. But I do believe having a patrol mode won’t affect the game balancing.

 

Other complains is just the ending story is very bad. It’s doesn’t explained much details about the future. For example for Allied story, the American President was a spy from Empire Rising Sun. There are no clear explanations of what happen to him after the Empire fall. This make the whole game looks bad to me as it doesn’t really matter if there are any popular celebrities inside or not. Hopefully the next expansion might explain it. I do not know what other C&C fans think. But to me, good stories and balance multiplayer game is a must. However, Red Alert 3 single players are simply lack of that.

Does Credit Card Make You Own More Debts?

Today Brudirect has posted an interesting topic related to our daily life using credit card. According to the news, she was a highly educated and earns $3,000 per month while she ended up over with $9,000 debt because of the credit card. I wonder who the blame is. The money spender or the credit card made of plastic without life and soul? Probably, the boyfriend doesn’t work? Nothing to shame about that and it’s normal these days for woman taking good care of men. I see that a lot and I am not one of them.

 

Owing a basic credit card is easy nowadays and not to mention you can pay later by next month. The first credit card I owned was Master supplementary card under my sister. I remember my salary was around $500 per month which I didn’t expect the bank would allow it. I did applied for Visa for the second time, but was rejected. Then later, I applied again myself for Visa card because of inconvenience using the security device and check the correct amount I had to pay using my sister one. However, I ended having Visa and Master card together from HSBC. I don’t know if the staff who applied for me is deaf or just for the sake to earned interest from the job. Anyway, not bad at least. I do really happy using it as I can monitor and plan my purchasing carefully. I am going to throw my MasterCard away next year before my interest free end, just keeping Visa because it got the best exchange than Master.

 

To be honest, I do laugh when I read interview that some of the bank employee’s “felt guilty” by issuing credit card to their customers with bad financial statues. It just bunch of bullshit words coming from them. If they really feel guilty about it, they should reject the application in the first place to ensure and minimize the problem. Of course, every banks need a good reputations and customers to used their products. But I will never used the word “guilty” very lightly, it carry a huge responsible when you say that. It’s not just a simple pity is enough to comfort people. If you can’t even help them, best to avoid using this word and act like a nice person because they don't need it.

 

Anyway, how badly am I when using both two of my credit card? Sometimes bad I have to admit but I do not owned any of the debt and allow any extra any late charges to happen every month. This is how I prevent myself into the mess. You see, if I delay the payment, I will get charge by $20 at least every month which I can’t even easily earn from one day on work unless I go pick up soft drinks tin to sell it or work part time. I know using credit card is so easy like one two three. But planning your budgets and corrects merchant which offer the lowest price as possible is my first priority. And I plan carefully ahead on my next purchase Gundam and PC Games from online every month to ensure I am able to settle it next month. Normally, I just tried not to eat at lunch or buy cookies to save up. But this is what I do now looking at my current salary. My own rule is always keep yourself debt free.

My Seagate FreeAgent 160GB Send Back to S’pore

It just did happen before my Palit Prize card fall under the same fate. I can’t believe my luck have to be so bad. Well, the only option I can do is to send it back directly to Seagate International in Singapore for warranty, since it carry for FIVE years warranty compared to SIX month or possibly ONE year only in Brunei.

 

I already send out my portable hard disk yesterday and the postage just cost me B$4.10 including registering. If I had the money, I would definitely send it by Speed Post. However, the question is, I don’t really know if Seagate might charge me for the shipping back my portable HDD. This is quite interesting I hope I will find out after mine arrived at Singapore.

Damn! Video Card is Faulty!

I can’t believe it my luck is so bad in early morning when I start setting up my new PC and found out my Palit GeForce 8500GT Super+ 1GB has problem displaying words in DOS. I already contacted Palit and they willing to arrange to sent another replacement for me since the prize card doesn’t carry any warranty. =3

I hope might get it next month.

PC Start Building This Week

Finally! At last I got my processor from the capital. I should be getting it tomorrow and do some cleaning on my table. For now, I am concentrating looking for latest drivers and update the Autopatcher for Vista to the latest for fast setup on Sunday.

 

The first problem I am facing is the Asus P5Q Pro motherboard I brought from my friend shop. The Realtek audio is somehow quite different model and is using ALC1200 which is not even listed on the website. I am wondering if the new drivers R2.09 might even worked with it since it was not listed. Anyway, I will download the original drivers from Asus in case it fails. If any of you reading this and using Asus board similar to mine. Let me know if the new drivers work. I’m going too tried out the Readltek 3D Soundback too.

 

Secondly, I look for the new chipset drivers from official Intel website. It comes to my surprise that Intel has removed it from their support download. I wonder why? Well, it seems like I have to depend on Asus support download again.

 

Lastly, not quite exactly, but just the remaining Asus utilities require to be used in Vista. I couldn’t wait to try it out. The only thing I am new to Asus stuffs is the ExpressGate. I found the latest update from the website dated 26th September and it weight around 170MB. Man, I think I need to read the manual for full instructions.

Creative Online Store Now Shipping to Brunei

It was a boring day in the office and tried to look for some new online store in Brunei. Didn’t expect the Creative online store would shows up in my Google search. I can’t say when it exactly started offering for Bruneian buyers. But the prices are pretty attractive and some promotions you might find interested worth purchasing on at Creative official store.

 

 

This is truly a good move for Creative, but and of course not good for the local shops who tried selling Creative products. Anyway, the good news is we all pay in Brunei dollar and many of their products come with one year warranty. The shipping fee is depending on the weight on the items you order and there will provide tracking number of your orders which is pretty good for me. Be warning, however, if you order speakers to Brunei. There will be possible taxes in the custom post office. I do not have the figures on that; it is recommend asking the local custom first before you make a purchase. Only sound cards will not get tax since it is under computer category.

I have a friend doing it and he is now a full time LB promoter. he didn't manage to fool me but convince me I am wrong about their business. XD I am glad Brunei are protecting its people from getting fool by MLM.

Don’t worried about the missing translation, you can find a English subtitle on every six (currently four) episode. The movie episodes also offer a free download. However, I do encounter problem downloading the episode two to four due to the missing file from their server and I’m not sure how to report this JW. Don't worry, you can watch it in flash.

My Red Alert 3 Got Tax!

It was confusing when I get my first 5% tax in the post office. I have been buying PC games for five years and never got a single tax. So the question is, why now? I actually end up in the Internal Security Department to confirm the problem I am facing and get more information before I start another purchasing.

 

The custom officers at the department are friendly with me except one of the custom ladies pissed me off in the post office when she said I am wasting her time asking nonsense about why I am getting tax. I wonder who really actually wasting the time here? Any movies, music and games will get tax around 5% to 20%. 20% is considering too high for such import entertainment goods to me and I have to say it’s BULLSHIT! Why? Brunei local shop is selling FULL of PIRATED movies, games and music’s. We got high tax of buying original stuffs which I find it non common sense at all and much like encourage us to buy pirated instead or pay more for express delivery. I was lucky for 5%.

 

As for the computer hardware, only power supply unit, wireless and modem will be tax. Printer unit will not be tax. However, there was tax previously applied but even the customs can’t confirm with me. I’m sure no one will buy printer from online, probably only Dell I can guess right now.

What a dumb thing to do asking for an eternal life from feng shui master. I do not believe this sort of things. If feng shui can make these wish of eternal life exist, I don’t think this world would really want to spend their funding on science and researching anti-aging. I believe new war world might even begin for the sake of it and not to mention they will become the world richest person you will never imagine.

Busy! Busy! Life Suck! :3

Ha! I think this year it’s another fuck up year. All my stuffs and PC broken one by one, giving me a lot headache. Hai~ I have to rush my friend for the CPU real quick, all else it just matter of time when it going to stop working.

 

Anyway, not much activity lately for me these past few weeks and expect more less blogging. It just something came up unexpectedly and earns some personal income to fix my repair cost. Probably I think because end of the year is coming so close and I have no idea what the hell am I supposed to do. That’s why I always living in a boring life thinking about fixing my income. =3

 

Well, next month it’s my cousin wedding and she born at the same year as me. She will be the first one getting married. Really happy for her finding a great partner who can take care of her and also a good family who like her very much. As for me, a long way and I might end up being single forever. I have no idea and yet have plan for looking new partners. Some girls out there are telling me for date. I don’t really know why, I just too afraid of something and confused for reason I don’t even understand myself.

 

I'm going to played Left 4 Dead demo now. My mind is stress and need some zombies killing right now. Man, I think I'm going to throw. brrr.....

I simply can't believe that Dell can't hire a proper employee from China that can understand English in the technical support live chat. I don't really mind if the person behind the desk can't type English or understand either as long they transfer me to the right department. Surprisingly one of them come to served me and wasting my time instead.

New Dell E228WFP Monitor

 

Finally I decided to purchase the value version wide screen LCD from Dell. This Dell E228WFP monitor is quite enough most users who like Photoshop, 3D Designs and watching movies. If you are lucky enough, you will be able to get the price of B$368.00 offer price from Dell Singapore (Sintex is coming, keep your eyes open). You might even get a good deal for other higher and larger screen version. Well, actually I suppose to get the Dell S2409W Full HD Monitor which cost B$489.00 (offer price). I change my mind because I still own my friend money so I have to be very careful on my spending.

 

 

I have to say I am satisfy with the overall viewing and more spacious on my desk. You just need some adjustment over the brightness and contrast when you first powering up. Movies, TV Shows and Anime I have watch are fine. This is depending on what quality format you actually watching. I tested some HD format and they are good and I’m sure running Blu-Ray movies will definitely gives you great viewing. But I will recommend you get the HD type monitor from Dell 24 inch model and its cost B$489.00 at offer price.

 

 

Gaming works perfectly with FPS game I tried with Area 51 running 1680x1050. I have to say kickass and getting sick much faster. Oh man, I feel a bit sick now. As for the old game, I think I need to find some hack for it to run correctly on wide screen monitor. You can't expect older game could run it, right? Anyway I haven’t tried Red Alert 3 yet because it hasn’t arrived in my post and there are so many negative posts at the forum about the game problem. I got to wait until every cool down and latest patches for RA3. Damn, I hope my old PC can catch up with the performance since I am still waiting for CPU to arrive.

 

Overall the Dell E228WFP monitor fit my taste and great comfortable for my eyes viewing. The extra thumbs up goes for three years one to one exchange and you can’t go wrong with that. The only negative is just the brightness you really need to adjust.

 

Dell also recently just announced two new HD display line up. I would suggest you wait and check out the price. i can't wait because my monitor is dead. ^^; i will get another one next year.

Cosplay in Brunei - Update

I just met a new online friend, name Jeslyn, who add me today and chat about anime and cosplay stuffs ^^;. Surprisingly after few minutes chat. I didn’t really know that there is cosplay show in Brunei as well and already been run back on June. She also mentions that it was also organize last year too. I really have no idea about this and have to say this is going to be interesting in the future. You see, Brunei is a boring place and we need something fun, of course kids friendly events that can attract crowds including a good opportunity attracts tourism nearby visiting. It just of matter how people look at it.

 

Seriously! If you are one of the locals or foreigners cosplayer and interested to joined, you are welcome! Don’t be shy! However, according to Jeslyn, the cosplay will be just a small meeting, the locations and approval is still unknown yet. Having Trouble opening Office 2007 Documents?

If you happily using Microsoft 2003 or little older version, you might encounter issue opening latest office document containing with letter ‘x’ at the end any extensions like word (docx). Many users might think that upgrading to version 2007 or using OpenOffice version 3 might solve your problem. Eventually, this is not really necessary. All you need simply download and install the Office 2007 File Capability pack. It will auto convert any 2007 documents when you open it.

 

This may be already posted by lots of bloggers out there. But I still find many office users are not aware of it, especially for those who are not good at this problem. It will be handy for anyone saved this program, you might not know some PC unable to open it.

CRT Screw by Blue Color

Fuck! I just get my car timing belt change not long ago and now my home CRT monitor is dying anything. What a bad luck coming end of the year. I can’t get rid of the stupid blue color popping up always when I turn on my monitor. Hitting all the time doesn’t help anymore and my only solutions of watching movies is to link to my TV. I have to say I am pretty pissed off NVIDIA graphic card and giving me a hard time for few hours to correct the TV showing in dual view. ATI control panel are much more friendly and easier to setup.

 

I am still considering which size of the Wide LCD to go and I am planning to wait for offer next month on Dell website. If I am correct, SITEX will be held at the end of November. I hope I can grab the offer earlier than that.

Dealing with Step Mother

Every time when I write step mother, I really wanted to kill her in my mind. A bitch who ruin the family, ruin your life and financial. This is what I personal doesn’t like in my whole life. I was so pissed off so many days and weeks for too long. Today is the worst one yet again and trying to throw full rocks at both of us (with my sister) by threatened kicking us out from the house. I’m not really scared at all and I am fine with that, but she’s not. Every month the electrical and waters bill are depending on us which she can’t help with it since she just an unemployed bitch. It’s funny, she trying to threaten us like that every time. I feel like she got her own sponsors on her back, that's why she started a war.

 

What I do not like is that whenever she does something or repairing something. She doesn’t want to discuss with us and slap us with the bill at our face, just like that without letting us know. She has been doing it every years and this pissed both of my sister and me into next level. We don’t get respect and always push around because we living in her house (my father and we give her). Life is uneasy having two mothers, it depend on how it turns out. We both were facing the fuck up family, so obviously we always have to look for backup path to turn around everydays. I don’t really mind letting her off out there talking bad about us because all she want every penny from us so that she can live with relax daily life. My real mom is following her example these days, when she comes back. I will have to give my mother a lesson, she really spend too much and wasted too much of our money. Borrowing money is not a good sight for us.

 

I am planning to look for better jobs and tomorrow I have to start renewing my CV. I can’t go on getting mess up by the bitch on our backs and getting threatens. I have to quit thinking about having a nice car for enjoying. Getting your own house is really important these days and my sister is agreeing with me. The problem is getting loan is so hard in Brunei and it only applied to those who worked on Shell or BSP, Governments and high paid salary. I need to get more information about the housing loans from my Malay friends see if they can give me more clues.

Blog Action Day 2008 - Poverty

Wow, I can’t believe it was so fast. I didn’t have the time to prepare my post and I know it’s late, thanks to my recent car broke down and my late work stress me out. Anyway, it’s very hard me to explain what is poverty really like in real life. Watching TV and news doesn’t really help including imagine it because I never experience it before. However, I do hope one day poverty will disappeared in the world.

 

Poverty around the World

What is poverty exactly? I’m sure even kids who living in good life won’t even bother to understand these days as they will only learned from school like in Geography class or maybe watching Discovery channel. I’m one of them, you can’t blame me that I born in peaceful country.

 

There are many types of poverty can be found different category, I believe it’s a lot. The quality of life, foods, safe drinking waters, poor shelters and home mostly can be found in developing countries especially like Africa, Cambodia, North Korea and many others in South East Asia. Developed countries do have such issue on poverty like homeless and income problems related.

 

Of course, ongoing war also can be one of the worst to be listed in the categories. Let’s not forget that governments ruling and corruption is also another main biggest raise on poverty.

 

How hard is Preventing Poverty?

This is one of the toughest issues everybody around the world can’t solve today and can be impossible even in the future. Volunteering, donating money, clothes or foods are no longer the best solutions lower poverty problems. Let’s face it, world economies are dragging everyone down to foreclosures, bank loan and even increasing on jobless are facing hard time of their own thinking to survive next day.

 

Spending billions of dollars will never solve the problem and everything still goes back from the start over and over again. I’m sure people will eventually fed up on donating and even won’t bother about the poverty issue anymore because there are many can’t even take care themselves and how do they suppose to take care of other people facing poverty. You may disagree my way of thinking like that. Believe me. This is actually happening more and more soon.

 

How can we help and improve?

Other than just donating, I believe education is one of the important roles to help the children or next generations to improve and open their own way to better future. I also believe abandon traditional way of thinking can help to improve their life as they can seek for newer way and understanding the environment they are living today. How they themselves able to stop the ongoing war conflict, corruptions, politics and rules they believe is wrong. This is currently what I believe it should be done.

Palit Geforce 8500GT Super+ 1GB and T-Shirt

 

I won this month a brand new Nvidia Geforce 8500GT Super+ 1GB graphic card and a t-shirt. I thought I was going to get a faster card, but I love to third. I haven’t tried running the test on this card yet. I was hoping my CPU and motherboard come first. My friend simply too busy spending his time with his partner, that’s why he still can’t get me the price for the processor. I guess I’m going to run a test on my sister PC soon.

My Car is Back!

Finally I got my car back after changing a lot of broken stuffs cause by the bad timing belt. I lose over at least $260.00 for replacing and service. Man, a good lesson for not fuck around with timing belt.

 

It’s funny I have to say, people these days. Quite a lot of people asking me why I didn’t choose to buy new car instead of continue using my old 90 wagon. I really have no idea why these kinds of question have to be repeated over and over again. Yeah I know Brunei do not have many taxes like other country do. It doesn’t mean my salary is that high! I hate people asking me why I don’t enjoy my life driving a nice sport car. It’s not like I don’t want too. It’s because I don’t even have a good pay job I am working now and I have to look after my mom. My daily life was just enough for each month and maybe a loss sometimes like my car broke down. Argg…now I am starting to eat breads when I get home for lunch or even dinner.

 

Hard to find a better jobs these days. Anyway, got to revise my CV now, hate to say but I am getting lazy with my jobs and grow very tired of it.

While I am waiting for my car bill to arrived and sitting In front of my PC doing nothing on holiday instead of playing my PS2 game afterward. I decided to make myself suffer more this month. I didn’t expect Hobby Link Japan (HLJ) currently so aggressive throwing so many nice discounts for Gundam this month. I simply couldn’t think of letting such good price go missing when the world economics is suffering. So I decided to place my order as much as I can for next month payment. I already totally broke this month, lucky to own credit card for next month debts.

I was expecting some jackpot last night to light up my debts and PC upgrade. Well, it didn't happen (damn**) and I have to move on. Anyway, here’s my other ordering plan for next last two month this year. I decided to order it from Hobby Search, it was introduced by Marvin (thanks!) last month and I haven't yet had a chance to tried the store since it looks promising looking at their free points to reduced your buying cost. Car Fuck Up Yet Again This Year!

I can’t really believe it just happen again on September every years. Last year, I was so unlucky hitting somebody car and two years ago I spend huge sum of money to fix my engine parts on the same month. My PC upgrade plan is totally screw up this time.

 

I’m not sure how bad my car condition is, but my timing belt did indeed cut off after I start my engine and reverse today. The mechanic did say it’s not quite dangerous than on the road as it might burn the while engine up. I was also lucky colleagues also stop me going on long trip to rig site. All else, I might really end up big time on the road.

 

Man, this is my own blame for not changing it because I lost track how many mile I have drive and there is no sticker indicate when I should change it. Fucking good lesson for me and really hope nothing more problem on the car in the workshop.

Chicken King

 

I wonder around my town yesterday to look for something to eat and end up going to Chicken King instead because I am simply just too hungry. I thought my second visit might see some improvement. But Fuck! I was disappointed over my B$6.00 boneless chicken chops with rice I ordered. The meat is simply too salty and oily for my taste. Probably which is why I don't see many customers would wanted to go there after the opening last few months.

 

Man, it's so hard finding something to eat here compared in Singapore. Eating same thing everyday starting to suck my life now.

Friends Control by Mom

I wonder how many friends of your does have a life been control or decide by their parents. Well, very few from mine over here I have to say. I know it wasn’t my position to put my ass on to somebody family business. But what I see here is their life is totally stupid and meaningless until now. Why the fuck do you still need your mom to babysit on you when you already working and facing the social life out there?

 

Recently one of my friends having huge problem with his mother after her suddenly charge into his office and making lots of problem shouting about abandoning his name from the family if he don’t dump his current girlfriend. I was like, what? Just because the mother doesn’t like the girl, she has to go that far threaten its own son to surrender his relationship for the sake of the family name? Meh…don’t you think it’s over protected and step into his son own world? Even if the parent doesn’t like the girl, this is the son decisions falling in love with her. No one is able to know the answer what their future lays ahead on their relationship. I’m not really what happen to him afterward, all I know he already moved out from his home continue with the current girl.

 

Another one who is my classmate is much worst. Everything he does must ASK his mother and take some question first before he can buy something. My jaw drop and laugh so hard after my friend told me what happen in the PC shop. His life never changes at all my last meeting him and I still wonder what he is actually doing. I know giving your family money is a must and rules as a son. He listens to his mom and everything would be best for him. Don’t you think this is a bit over react? Even when he buys a computer, he has to ask his credit card from his mother to pay for the computer. My friend who sale the PC to him had a hard time dealing with both of them. I don’t like his mom either, the reason is simple. She like to talk nonsense even when my father pass away and she approach me saying something non common sense at all. She then starts to piss me off more and more until I scolded her. Even since we haven’t had any talk.

 

My mom never asked me much of anything, but she do complained a lot about my spending on toys and games. ^^;;; I am happy my mom is open minded person and let me decide my own way of living. Although my own have lots of problems I still have to deal with today, but I at least not control by anyone.

I think it’s too quiet for the on going war between Xia Xue and Dawn Yang. After checking Xia Xue blog, mentioning that she is not going to apologies and there wasn’t any lawsuit against until now. CERN Going to Activate LHC Tomorrow at 8.30 Live!

Man! I am so exciting about this technology and unlock its hidden science further than ever before. According to the news and press release, BBC will be the one doing the live feed and will be available on the CERN official website. The problem is I don’t even know what the correct times they are going activate are after it mention is 8.30. So, it is morning or night? I do hope it’s at night though so that I can watch live online.

The most worrying side also because uprising protest in US and the scientist have been received death threat orders to stop this test. Many of them believe the LHC will create black hole and destroy the earth. I’m not a science student so I’m not really sure what the outcome really going to happen. But I do wish to know what result we are going to get once the LHC activate. Unlock better future for humanity or black hole kicks in destroy the earth.

Man Gets Nut Stuck On Penis

After reading it, I can’t imagine how hurt it going to be. But I have to say, this guy in early 20’s is definitely stupid thinking about making his penis long. He worried too much on his size and length which almost nearly lead him losing his penis putting a heavy welding nut. I can’t stop laughing and feel sorry for his guy ended up on the news.

 

It would appear the news did not reach one poor Malaysian man, who in an effort to increase his size, put a heavy welding nut on his penis and then accidentally got an erection which almost lead to him losing his penis.

The unnamed welder in his 20’s was attempting to lengthen his penis before his engagement next week by placing a heavy welding nut on then end of his penis in hopes it would stretch him out and make him longer.

During the process he gave himself an erection which caused the nut to become stuff on his penis, forcing him to call for help.

Fire and Rescue arrived on the scene but where unable to assist the man and were forced to take him to the hospital.

Sultanah Aminah hospital staff had to removed the top layer of his penis in order to get the welding nut off the poor guys penis.

 

Even if my penis is born that small, I will never think about going for enlargement. You won’t know what might going to cause your entire life. I know every man what to have a great sex with your partners. But best to value your life rather than risking your only value alive penis.

Work Late Night and Puasa

I am starting to feel very bad about my work this year, it’s time for me to look for a new job. Can’t believe I am working for nothing these days, especially at night until ten yesterday just for the stupid rental PC and no overtime paid for it. Pissed the whole night and have to continue today morning deliver the PC and setup in the client office on holiday. Although it just for half day, not getting over paid is terrible thing and wasting your time just for the company benefit. I couldn’t agree more on this continue to serve myself over this job.

 

Feel so fuck up in such situations and hopeless, there wasn’t any suitable job and qualifications available for me lately. But I will still stick with this job until something miracle came up for me. Some company did indeed offer me a position. But not a wise one as it relationship is too close to mine current boss. I don't like having job to close to anyone around me, because that issue, I lose my job even more. Hate to say, but until then, going to kept looking for new jobs.

My PC is Getting Worst

Ha! Damn PC is dying and getting worst day by day. Still can't start assemble a new PC yet due to my next car insurance is coming very close next month and I already spend on my new insurance I just switch lately. I have to saved as much as I can for another month. I just hope my stupid CRT monitor still can hold until end of this year until I get a new one.

 

Anyway, same as always and busy working until late seven. I starting to feel very lazy on my current work now and I have to think of something to overturn that behaviours. Argg...For now, back to Gintama. Love these comedy anime.

Currently the price and available model, known as Acer Aspire G7700-494X which will cost you BND$3,368.00! Not to mention the ACER G24" WLCD Monitor (1920x1200 Resolution - Full HD with 2ms Response) is NOT included with the PC and will cost roughly BND$738.00!

 

I'm not really sure if it actually worth buying. But looking at the spec (check below), I feel like you can get better power for that and probably lower price for that kind of setup. Intel has already make an announcement a price cut lately for Q9450 which is same goes for NVIDIA 9800 GTX and release GTX plus version at slightly higher price. The paper also didn't mention clearly if the system contain two graphic card or not. My guess is one.

 

The flyer also did not state what kind of brand is the sound card and HDD actually installed in the PC. If my guess is right, it may be Creative X-Fi rubbish sound card and the HDD is from Western Digital. Why I say Creative rubbish? Their drivers simply very bad and huge numbers of complained from around the world.

 

Anyway, if you had the money and can't decide what kind of gaming system you want to buy. Acer Aspire might gives you an idea.

Finally finished it today, I fuck up with the arm on the right and it’s broken. I tried to glue it and still don’t look good. I can’t do any posed now and I feel sad about it. Some advice doing assemble and mixed GM Powered with any Blue Destiny unit. Both their arms can’t be snap together as well their leg. It seems like you really need to mod it if you really want to mix the parts.

Anyway, this is my second Gundam model I built for HGUC line and I called it RGM-79 GM Defense. It’s a ground MS and also part of my story in UC0079 which also involved in Kangaroo Project Teams who develop RX-79 Powered BD.

No pose this time I hate to say. I’m currently waiting my order ready for KOTOBUKIYA modelling weapons kit from HLJ. It’s cheap and nice weapons set supporting my future work. Good news also to all Gundam modeller out there. KOTOBUKIYA has already opened English official website for worldwide. You guys can check it out!

Fuck! I’m not interested on the Olympic anymore. This is truly going to be freaking news if it turns out to be real. One of the photos has now leak into the internet @ Cryptozoology. Brunei Missed the Beijing Olympic

This is truly a missed in a life time for Brunei not in the opening. Well, of course, I didn’t even bother to watch because I don’t even have any Astro instead I have to download the HD version from the internet.

 

I didn’t even know it happen when I read BB about the ‘Blame Game’. But the rumors I heard it even announced on live TV that is Brunei excluded from the Olympic opening on last Friday. This truly sparks the whole nation and left without good explanations from the Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council (BDNOC) and Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports itself.

 

What do I think? Funny and stupid, of course, I know everyone is totally pissed. Let me explained why I decided to includes these two words I mention above.

 

Why Funny?

Nobody knows shit that our nation has been excluded from the Olympic from the beginning, that’s why. The statements are simply just nonsense and making me wondering out of all hundred thousand of people living in Brunei only have two athletes qualify for the Olympic? This is some kind of jokes? I don’t believe any single athletes in Brunei don’t dream wanted to make it to the international games.

 

Something is damn fishy about the sports in our nation. Making public apologies after the start of the Olympic Games is totally unacceptable and I don’t even understand why not before the opening like earlier one or two month? What so hard about that? Probably because they feel very embarrass to tell the public, they decide to give us a big surprise on last Friday so everyone living in Brunei can joined hand to hand together with them facing the world of embarrassing. Damn, Clever I have to say.

 

Why Stupid?

Like I mention before, is it so hard to announced in the beginning Brunei will be excluded? I don’t even know what Ministry is really thinking about or perhaps they were lazy in the first place taking Olympic seriously? It surely turned into a question on what are the Ministry actually doing these days. What is it so hard register our local athlete’s? They said only two were selected and even mention one of them is injured on June. If that is the case why not just send one over there then to participate the game? I’m sure every one of hundred thousand will be happy to see only one trying hard for the game even without winning because it represents for the nation and should be proud.

 

Nothing is really good turn out from our nation by such useless minded person who doesn’t taking it seriously and faith on its athletes. Destroy every dreams of the local athletes is a worst thing in the world. I don’t really mind not having any crazy party on New Year in Brunei. But Brunei fail to participate from Olympic is simply just wrong. Everyone now can pray for good news that Brunei will not ban from IOC and any other Sea Games as well in the future.
