New eSpeed2 Rate

Stupid value surf rate! $3.00 off only and the rest get benefit? How thoughtful has Telbru done on the new rate. Nonetheless, I am still thinking if going for the fastest one is a wise decision. I find it quite a hard choosing to pay extra $10 (2Mbps) or $20 (3.5Mbps). Although I did feel 2Mbps is only 1x extra speed but by looking at my current situation and burden in the future. I need to think carefully before applying.

Japanese Online Shops March Promotions

Ami-Ami and Hobby Search have been doing promotion on their discount quite aggressive last month and decided to extend yet again this month. Although I did see Hobby Link Japan (HLJ) also doing sales from time to time, but there is no doubt something big might be coming.

I am holding my money at the moment and wait, looking out for more discount at this current three top Japanese shop in the middle of the month. For my opinion, the most attractive promotion is Ami-Ami offering half price on EMS shipping and that you shouldn’t missed it. Unlike Hobby Search, they are only promoting their new SAL shipping service so all items 15%-20% off (except books or magazine). The good thing are, discount also applied to hobby tools and other plastic parts so it is still a good deal, just not the shipping only.

Good toy hunting everyone!

HLJ Blowout Sales!

It was really great timing ordering toys during coming Christmas. I manage to get something in HLJ Blowout Sales after the count down begin on the website yesterday. Actually it was two minutes early before the Admin updated the front page. I got to thanks to the HLJ newsletter for the direct link accessing so fast.

Now, what did I manage to get this time? Yes, it is same as usual for hunting Gundam again. I simply can’t help it because there weren’t any other interested non-Gundam mecha or figures I wanted to get. In the end, I brought Gundam Fix Figuration Shin Musha and HG 1/100 Gundam Seravee Gundam Designer Version including extra order for Tamashii Stage Act 3 clear display stand and others paint accessories to the lists which I plan previously.

Anyhow, it was a waste that I don’t see many nice Transformers and other non-Gundam action toys in the Blowout Sales. Figure? Nah, not a single one attracts me except for Kingdoms Heart II trading figure which is simply out of my budgets line so I skip it. Nonetheless, free express shipping is what everyone expecting during the holiday. If you haven’t grabbed some, you should do it now before it ends on this Friday.

Order Kane Expansion & Soul Storm

This few months has been too quiet for PC games release. I can’t play Supreme Commander RTS game because it needed high-end gaming system to run which is kinda suck. I can’t play Crysis FPS game because I can get sick easily with it. Well, it doesn’t mean I can’t play the others! That’s why today I decided to order Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars: Kane Warth Expansion and Warhammer 40K: Soul Storm expansion.

Buying C&C title is totally worth it! This time around they bundle with Razer RTS mouse, DeathAdder. And it cost only S$89.00 all together. Damn this is the best collection I can’t miss out! Due to this sudden online purchase, I decided to cancel some Gundam orders at HLJ.com and control my budgets for next month carefully including replacement brakes for my car. T_T;;; Hate my sister, doesn’t know how to drive. The brakes are badly gone.

Warhammer 40k Dawn of War is also one of my favourite games and Soul Storm expansion will not missed out in my list. I already figure this new expansion would come out because of the ending at Dark Crusader. Well hope I can get both of them next month. The shipment is becoming expensive I have to say, thanks to the stupid oil price rise recently that affecting the whole market and I am still worried about my online purchase in Japan. Tomorrow will be quite busy from my worked. Hopefully I am able to manage it to solve my purchase soon.

Anyway, don’t miss out the great price bundle for C&C expansion. Go to Gameshop Singapore to get it.

Karnival Motor 2008 in Kuala Belait - Update

I went to the Karnival Motor today. I missed it on the first and second days, so I have to check out the place together with my camera to snap more photos in my home town. I have to say I quite enjoy with it and sadly, experience raining after I reach there yesterday. People do find me funny taking pictures like I am some kind of motor fan or something. The funnier is that when I was inside the Government building, a sales lady (from Linktech booth) asked me if I am from the local media or from the RTB. ^o^ Haha… I told her that I am a blogger and she was like. ‘What was that again?’ She never heard about blogger, so probably she is not really onto reading about weblog. I do guess she know a little, hopefully. But it was nice someone actually do ask me such question. Well, I carried a cheap Canon PowerShot A710IS. Do you think I am from the press?

Please do note that I was able to find out some of the motor companies when I was there except those inside building I got the cards and name from the photos. I was too obsessed with the cars there. They are simply gorgeous and it’s like I never been to a motor show or something for so long. So I don’t even bother to ask which companies them from. ^^;;; Anyway, just found out the companies. Here’s the companies that participates in the carnival 2008 in our town:-

• NBT Brunei
• GOH HOCK KEE Motors (GHK) SDN BHD
• T.C.Y. Motors SDN BHD
• Setia Motors SDN BHD
• Premier Motor Company SDN BHD

• Guan Electrical SDN BHD
• K.K.Chan

Check out the photos. All photos are taken with Canon PowerShot A710 IS and all picture has been resized to 1280x960 using Live Photo Gallery. Cheers! Visit the Karnival in Kuala Belait before the end of 3^rd February.
