Gundam Front Tokyo Goodies!

Nope I didn’t fly to Japan, my sister does. I give her money to help me loot some goodies there since she also interested visiting Gundam Front Tokyo (GFT) last year before the place closing down on March. I do feel a bit regret buying few of the stuffs because when it comes to buying directly in Japan, you need to be careful and check the website for tax-free zone details.
So did I drive into madness getting this new free HG original weapon parts this week? Nope, not going to. I already learned hard lesson last year and just doesn’t want to get dupe by HLJ again . Despite my heart is still so itching to press the purchase button. In the end, not happening. There are plenty of Gunpla backlog stuck in my room and hardly finished half of it. It’s best I tried to complete majority of them before start buying again. But it just unimaginable that P-Bandai just screw us again. Who knows HG 1/144 Z-Plus C1 limited release recently just announce for no reason! Again, I don’t understand why it has to be limited release. If they previously released both S Gundam, Xeku Eins and Z-Plus A1. Why just can’t Z-Plus C1 continue to be retail release? Gosh, this Bandai.

Bandai Continue Nightmare Release Limited Kits

I just don’t get it! How the hell Bandai continue to screw modelers like that releasing those limited kits that grantee to be long term popular? It just not cool playing such card on us especially the exchange rate already 76 YEN against our 1.00 dollar. To be honest, it doesn’t really looks so good for plenty of us if it continues to drop and in case you haven’t notice, the price of the normal Gunpla kit does indeed increase. The toy market are slowing down definitely and I see several online shops having hard time clearing them off. Even they slash half the price of the toys, whether I should pick up or not because the limited kits are in the way. So what are the new menus got for me to hunt? Let’s see...   RAG-79-G1 Waterproof Gundam Dream comes true for me. Bandai really up with their sleeves reusing the same mod knowing the retail release Gundam The Origin MSD Local Type not doing well in the market. This change, I am going to get it. FansProject (FP-Core) - WB-002EX Deluxe Package Arrived!

Weeeee!! Seeing the arrival of both Core Trailer and Steel Core figure really brighten my day last week. Nope, I didn’t play around or even transform it. But instead unseal the box doing inspections (except Soleren Ruthen) to make sure I didn’t receive broken toys after reading someone actually did. I got to admit, Steel Core figure is really a great toy. The quality is incredible good and the joints are beautifully tight. No regret having him staying inside the box forever. As for the trailer, I take a great peek on the inner and outer design too. It is not disappointing, nothing much fancy stuffs we might expect as usual. Like many collectors said, it definitely completes the Steel Core vehicle mode which is true. BTW, there won’t be any exclusive review in my blog since everyone already done it.

Fansproject TFX-01B Shadow Commander 2nd Edition

If I am not mistake about the information! As much I know this is the second batch released on January this year. Yeah, I did spent quite a bit on this City Commander armor upgrade which results damaging me at least US$50 more compared to three years ago. Still better than spending at eBay with either ridiculous price or even get dupe by copy version from the sellers. To be honest, I did however thinking about getting the KO version from KO Toys site as I find my Nemesis Prime looks boring in the display. Luckily because the store gets taken down by Hasbro, things weren’t goes as plan. Nonetheless, the original third party is always the best and loving it right now. Not sure if I am planning to get the red TFX-01 at RK, hopefully I might hit a jackpot then I will reconsider once again. You can currently buy this at TF–Source for US$129.95 in case you wonder. Beware! The longer you hold and wait, the more the price will rise every few months!

TFCC Membership Exclusive Toy 2011 – Side Burn

Side Burn is this year Transformers Collectors’ Club member incentive exclusive toy. As many of you know, Side Burn is none other a redeco version of Rodimus. It just sad that doesn’t come with any art box. At the same time, the wing tail was bent 90 degree during the arrival. It’s not serious, luckily. But I am really disappointed how the staff’s at TFCC pack my toy without any single foam or bubble plastic inside the box before shipping out from the US. It is so hard to find left over or recycle foam stuff over there are somehow puzzling me. No one can imagine how the folks going to replace if the toy comes in damage. Anyway, the redeco Side Burn doesn’t come with disappointment on the paint application. Although I did discover some area did not done properly on the painting. He still turns out really details and looks different with Rodimus, only thing is just too bad not getting any new head treatment. Hopefully Fansproject might release new TFX Protector for Side Burn in the f

Tokyo Toy Shows 2011: Transformers United Darkside Exclusive Version

This is a Tokyo Toy Show 2011 Transformers United Darkside Prime and Megatron exclusive toy. If you are Transformers collectors, you really shouldn’t miss this one. Why? It only cost US$59.90 (for now) which is the exactly the two United price. This is US$20 cheaper compared to the last exclusive Dreadwing and Smokescreen. The paintings for both are so good especially Megatron is the best. I really love these two and really wanted to take them out of the box. But after seeing my room filling up with toys and junks, I think better off living them in there. I don’t think I need to do review because they were basically the same toy and mold. This one simply just evil redeco version with good high quality paint job. Don’t miss out this one if you haven’t get one while the price still remain the same.

TFX-05 Blesser Limited Version

This is one of the limited Fansproject Blesser which only 1500pcs available around the world.  Nothing special about the figure, it just a redeco version of TFX-05 Sidearm.

Reveal of the Black Box

Last Saturday I received a missed call from the post office informing me a parcel just arrived. I first thought could be the RK pre-order for last month. Somehow it’s not the case after I open the black box. Okay, want to guess first before hitting read more? Nah, I know you don’t care. Well, it’s a…….

Tokyo Toy Show 2010: Dreadwing and Smokescreen Exclusive Version

Yup, the brothers finally arrived few days ago, but I am too lazy to post up while continue gaming Starcraft II campaign for second time. Well, as you can see this is exclusive G2 ROTF Dreadwing and Smokescreen (redeco Mindwipe and Skystalker ) exclusive toy release for Tokyo Toy Show 2010 which I got it for US$88.90 at RK. Now the price just suddenly roasts to US$109.90! Woah…lucky me. I know it’s quite a lot of money spending on it. But I don’t have any regrets because I simply love these two bad boys and decided to display on the same shelf with the Japanese version of Dreadwing ( name as Gigant Bomb) and Smokescreen ( Smokesniper ) which I got it this year from eBay. Both of them looks great in alternate form and combine mode. Although the ROTF design is much more advance and taller compare to the older Dreadwing. Nonetheless, the combination design still loses to the previous version from my personal opinion and has a triple changes mode which you hardly can able to find mu
