So did I drive into madness getting this new free HG original weapon parts this week? Nope, not going to. I already learned hard lesson last year and just doesn’t want to get dupe by HLJ again. Despite my heart is still so itching to press the purchase button. In the end, not happening.
There are plenty of Gunpla backlog stuck in my room and hardly finished half of it. It’s best I tried to complete majority of them before start buying again. But it just unimaginable that P-Bandai just screw us again. Who knows HG 1/144 Z-Plus C1 limited release recently just announce for no reason!
Again, I don’t understand why it has to be limited release. If they previously released both S Gundam, Xeku Eins and Z-Plus A1. Why just can’t Z-Plus C1 continue to be retail release? Gosh, this Bandai.

Missed HG Customize Parts Campaign Summer 2015 at Hobby Link japan

If you want to get Bandai HG Customize Parts campaign stuffs, look no further only Hobby Link Japan happen to have this promotion that offer to international customers. The third campaign finally started on August 17th. Nope I didn't manage to get any damn single out of it. You see this happen when these customize parts ran out before they packed mine. Yes, disappointed to know. But what pissed me off HLJ actually already started offering on August 8th even the graphic logo listed the exact date and put up on 17th! What the fuck?
I really lost of words and find this very upset they kept this promotion quiet while making majority waiting and browsed for the news everyday wondering the third campaign going to happen or not. Not only it pissed me off and began to question why 17th? They said because it was traditional Obon holiday (three days) and the announcement was delay. I call that bullshit excuses and the fuck we subscribe newsletter service for? Traditional Obon holiday celebrate on August 15th (wiki) and will last for three days. So what happen during 10 to 14th then?
Let's be frank about this, we all can see global economic problem does indeed affect Gundam model kits sales and has been slow down this year including those new released lines. Not only that, P-Bandai exclusive are spoiling the market itself too. You will notice if you browse the pages every few days or easy way, type HGUC or HG in the search. The list of the new released and old Gunpla stocks numbers hardly running out of stocks even after the campaign ended.
My opinions on this, probably a marketing stunt to find way clearing high volume stocks stuck in their warehouse. You see, the past two campaigns last two to three weeks and I hardly able to choose which kits to buy as majority run out of stock. The third campaign, so much in stock kit's selection and closed only less than 5 days (17th to 21st). If the promotion originally started on 8th, either they found the sales were slow during that time and the remaining HG customize parts already given out almost dry since we are talking about three parts for each HG purchase. I myself would find this golden opportunity card push to clear the stocks and make sure the “This campaign is only good as long as our stock of packets lasts!” slogan were used to protect them from hot head customer like me. Smart move.
Of course, I may be wrong. This is just speculating and no prove at all of their wrong doing. Even if it happens what I wrote above, well, they got right to do that. Still, I find this case so rare they would stay quiet and delay announce this campaign for such respectable online shop with lots of loyal customers base. I never had any problem with them before but this is the first time making me so mad wasting my money purchasing from a campaign period (the day they open) that gets nothing in return. The way they handle this announcement just wrong and left me speechless. There won't be next time blindly rush to purchase like that. Thanks to that, I actually brought wrong Nemo version. Arggg!

iShop2Go Reveal GK Gundam as Sister Site

gkgundam

I won't be updating my review for the iShop2Go and planning to do review for GK Gundam because they are basically run by same owners or person. All the Gunpla pricing should remain the same including the shipping even they move all their existing products there.

To be honest, I am really disappointed about them as a customer. Not only they didn't inform us they could get limited Gunpla from P-Bandai and selling resin kits. Instead, they kept quiet and create more complicated ways, such as making it's existing customers to open another account and had to purchase some products that were not found at iShop2go separately at the sister site secretly for years. What worst that its existing customers are paying more on unreasonable extra shipping cost separately.

Yes, I knew about the sister site from last year when I first visit after someone told where to get the P-Bandai Gunpla. It's easy to find out about it because the price and promotion gave it away the hints also the top ten product review video posted at the site. I do feel bad not mentioning in my blog but speculating without proof might get me into trouble. So I rather wait and see. Since the owner personally went public announced at their front page, I still felt they gave a bad impressions hiding the sister site identity.

There is no doubt that so far they are the only Gunpla shop I know that still offering a good price for Chinese Hobby magazines with limited kits online from Hong Kong. Nonetheless, it is advisable to be careful and do more survey on the pricing because there are now many products that sold more expensive for some reason.

Play-Asia.com Officially a Ripper

For my own opinions, PA really going too far over their pricing for the collector editions stuffs. I have no idea what the fuck happen to their great pre-order services, it was total big let down ever that I can't imagine missing both pre-order on the Diablo 3 and with sudden ridiculous double pricing for Guild Wars 2 collector editions in a trusted store this year. It never was like this being a long time customer able to get so many great collector stuffs without single price problem hitting the order buttons. But now, either the pre-orders button never shows up even after the date line or bother giving any answers if they can officially getting those products.

PA decided to went into ripping off mode on the customers money by playing eBay style doubling the price. Yeah, Guild Wars 2 CE is now priced at US$299.00 instead of official US$149.99. This is the biggest shit I ever expect this outcome from such a popular trusted site. I am now officially black listing and decided to delete Play-Asia.Com in my favorite and start looking else where.

We Are Atheism Campaign

To be honest, I have no idea how many Atheists are in Brunei nowadays. But I decided to speak out to all my family and friends. This is going to be ugly, hate, attacks and causing criticisms around me because all peoples I know are religious and believers except my big brother. No matter what happens, truth doesn’t hurt.

I already start promoting in my Facebook profile and see what kind of results I might get from the feedback. Of course I already am receiving unhappy comments from some of my Christian friends. Well, let see how it goes. Don’t feel ashamed. It’s up to you what you believe and disagreeing my view or the rest of the world.

Visit the official We Are Atheism website for more information's and check out the videos below.

China Shipping Issue

Alright, seems like some of you folks are not happy with Buyincoins.com shop and telling me you got cheated. I’m not really sure what the stories between you and the seller are. But so far until now I haven’t experience any problem or encounter no refund issues.

Here’s the tip. Just in case, you are in worst scenario and are using PayPal for online payment. Do remember that you can file report in Paypal against any seller within 45 days for not receiving your orders, feel cheated, dishonest or whatever things you unhappy with. Open a case there, that way you are protected and giving more time settlement including negotiations with the sellers.

However, one thing you got to remember and make sure you doesn’t choose EMS shipping. It appears Brunei is excluded from the China Post EMS service list. This was confirmed by several China sellers. Only registered mail option is available and I use that a lot continue receiving my orders. It just takes longer to arrive only.

Hasbro Transformers Collectors Club

Never thought I would be so addicted to the Transformers toys and finally decide also jumping into the club too. It was suppose planning to join last year, I just hold off due uninterested membership figure except for one, Punch/Counter Punch. I’m sure you guys are curious what so special about the Transformers Collectors Club. Here are the lists of the things you might expect as a TFCC member.

  • New Releases
  • Character Profiles
  • News from Hasbro
  • Product Reviews
  • Historical Articles
  • Hasbro Interviews
  • Six page ongoing Comic (Each year’s issues will 'combine' to make one complete story arc)
  • FREE Membership Transformers figure (if you join by March 15th each year)
  • Transformers Club Shop offering club discounts on Transformers toys
  • Ability to purchase member's only figures from the Club store
  • Discounts on packages to the official Transformers Convention: BotCon
  • Member's Only Forum
  • Prizes from Club Contests
  • FREE Auctions and Advertisements on MCAX.com (coming soon!)

Of course this entire stuff comes at cost for US$78.00 yearly subscriptions. Come on, no such thing is free. Yes, it is expensive from my point of view for international subscriber. Do note that this is shipped directly from the US.

Well to be honest, there isn’t much interested about the club unless you are planning attending the Botcon event because there is special discount package for registration. TFCC also gives you a private access to member’s forum. However, it’s boring and quiet there.

As for the magazine, I already received my first issue (March/April) few days ago. Kinda disappointed I am expecting from the club. Only the comic sections are at least fun reading. I feel the editor wasted too much unnecessary pages on the interviews and character profiles. Hopefully the next upcoming issue will be better.

Now, according to the latest news pre-ordering TFCC exclusive toys should begin on 25th this month. I am going to hunt down G2 Ramjet to complete my seekers collection. As for the TFCC free member toy will shipped after the Botcon event which is around June. Not sure yet if I am eligible receiving this year free toy because I register it on the day of 15th march last month before it expire. The TFCC staffs are not that kind of friendly, even their respond to my question above is hardly understandable.

Please do note that for international members, after you have register and purchase TFCC membership. We are requiring scanning our identification and credit card both front and back for submission. It looks unsafe but according to them it is necessary in their policy. Read the Terms and Conditions for more information.

No Longer 1999 for Toys

What do you think? I personally feel Hobby Search is becoming worse Japanese toy store than before and getting more expensive on the shipping. It’s not like I am so cheap or whatsoever. I just find hard to believe the total amount for the shipping fee I am paying for are ridiculously getting expensive. No matter how many items I buy thinking it might reduce the weight of the shipping cost. Sadly, it just doesn’t happen.

Last month, I was looking for Transformers United Blur and Preceptor because I missed the Hasbro wave in RK. HLJ doesn’t have any stocks so I decided to buy from there at the same time getting another Dengeki Hobby May 2011 with Wagtail kit again. What I didn’t expect the shipping fee hits me with 3,500 yen.

I know magazine and books cost a lot on shipping. But seriously, one magazine and two small TF toys that heavy? This is somewhat kinda bullshit system calculation. If I brought three magazines with one book and weapon kit that can only cost me 4,000 yen at HLJ. How the heck Hobby Search able to charge me such amount?  The shipping fee should be lesser that I pay for. No matter, if it’s not because I missed my collections. I won’t be paying it. This will be my last and won’t order anything again.

Store Closure and Gone

HW Japan has announced a closure of the store effective today. I wasn’t aware of it when I drop by their site yesterday. According to them, this is their parent company policy. Not the tsunami and the earthquake hitting on the region reason. I wish the best of luck to the staffs and hopefully able to see they return one day.

On the other side note, Walter Hobby also now finished after the domain name is available for register for weeks. Well, no surprise and I are sure anyone expects that coming sooner or later.

First Look! – eToysJapan.com

Here is another toy shop I discover way back on April during my search in Google. I didn’t take an opportunity to introduce this toy shop because the pre-order for Henkei Hound was very late shipping out last month. So I decided to hold until the right time to post once received the parcel.

eToysJapan.com is quite rare and very unknown company to me. Yes, it’s not even popular and less information about them in the market. So it’s hard to rule out that they aren’t trusted toy seller. Just take extra precaution when purchasing things from them even though I only made one successful order only.

For your information, their original office or HQ is mention station at US. However, the business and facilities operated in Hong Kong. So they are believed largely targeting Asian buyers. The good things are for pre-ordering, buyers doesn’t require make full payment. Only deposit is needed and no deadlines for most pre-order items until it reach the order limits. The shipped out items will be based from Hong Kong so it’s affordable and faster shipping to Brunei too.

How about the price? It’s hard to say but I do admit they are little more expensive compare to others. It really depends, for example my order for TF Henkei Hound only cost me US$20.90 while RK sold US$28.90 during pre-order period. My suggestions here are check and compare the price first before making any orders.

Walter Hobby Online is Back?

Update! It appear that Walter still unable to accept Paypal. I suspect probably he haven’t settle the previous refund or orders. The only payment right now he accepting is Western Union only. But I do not recommend using it because this electronic transfer is stupid and the fee is expensive.

I just drop by the website yesterday and found out that Walter has updated the toy categories listing. It has been long months without seeing him getting back to business because of Paypal ban (now lifted). Of course, his bad reputations and services will continue to hunt him no matter what, unless he made huge improvements and correcting his past mistake. The only questions are should we still trust him after all this mess up he creates? Although I never experience it, but the others does.

It is very uncertain answer to this because until today, he never made any apologies and doesn’t explain to the buyers. I don’t understand why he chooses not to do so. In order to regain the trust again, he really need to do clarifications on what had happen. All the bad things about his online shop will continue to spread by the community.

Anyhow, there are some toys I really would like to get from him again but for the safety precaution, I have send him a message asking Walter the similar question above and also if he ready able to fulfill the buyers orders on time without delaying for months. Let’s see if he going to be the same behaviors likes before not answering and response to the message.

My First Open Case in Paypal

I can’t imagine this is the first time filing an open case against YaHobby.com (China online retailer) in Paypal.com. These guys are trying to avoid their responsibility and false promises refund my money, last week. I have no idea what the hell happen to them because until now, not a single mail has been reply from them after sending starting on Sunday. I check through the Google them if any suspicious movement on their website. But still, no lucks finding any lead.

I advise all of you not to buy stuffs from them. Yahobby.com is not a safe site buying toys and been known sending damage products to buyers.

eBay is Evil

Yes, eBay is really an evil shopping site. I was so obsesses looking for shits all days and every night. Not just Transformers only. PC parts, old junks, tools, shoes and more pending that is currently unknown within me. You can find almost everything there and being so crazy sticking it from December last year until now. I really need to get away from it and that it October for sure.

Looking for China products are the most interesting. Almost all China and Hong Kong sellers are selling over there in eBay. The price is damn cheaper than those sell in Brunei and comes with free shipping. Not bad huh? It just a question whether it will deliver to us or not. That’s why we have to make sure the seller have a good rating and positive records before making any purchase.

I also happy able to find some PC technician tools there that can support my works. For instance, like networking tools and testers. Almost all of them come with very cheap price. Thanks to that, I am able to discover a new China gadget site (will be review soon once I confirm it’s safe to buy). Of course, I have to be careful what to buy there because the electronic stuffs are tax by our custom officer and it’s going to be 20%. As long it is power by battery, they will consider it as electronic. Yes, wifi products are cheap too, but are you willing to pay for B$50.00 for EACH product to AiTi? Not for me, but I do love to get my hands on the wireless presenter. Blah better find it in local shops. AiTi sucks!

Finding PC parts and second hand CPU are quite cheap also. But the shipping are quite high especially like from Australia. I was stunt by it seeing the shipping fees are more expensive than from US. When it comes to this, I would rather order mini-ITX system and some combo CPU plus motherboard sold from China which is much worth it from what I see. Although it does actually depends on the results coming from eBay search. You need a lot of efforts finding the right sellers.

Man, I wish Brunei bank adopt Paypal and allow to received money. eBay is a good place selling your stuffs and even helps to boost some post office services other than just receiving.
