Upcoming New Directions

2014 is coming very close. Many things have happen a lot this year and I won't forget. Bad or happy are the things of past. Something new in life has to come and next year, upgrading job skills, travels more and financial saving are going to be top priority. This means I have to stop been addictive online shopping bitch next year.

Upgrading job skills will be my highest to do list next year. I hate to say, without new certifications there won't any expectation getting salary raise. Every company (existing) now looking at it and got to keep up with the younger generation. After failing my first Installing and Configuring Microsoft Server 2012 exam, this cause me a huge set back moving to second level. I still haven't decide to retake the exam since it's not cheap. For personal own safety, I heading towards CompTIA A+ which I believe will be the best interest restart my IT learning.

This year, I got to admit spending quite a lots on collections really make me blind with no single saving. This is seriously danger my future and financial support. So I had to get serious about start putting money into the bank. I slowly getting rid some of my collections in the shelves and hope the sales could improve financial saving a bit. But for some reasons, Lego toys are the hardest to sell even I lower the price between 40-50%. I really should carefully not buying Lego anymore unless I only interest themes in.

As for traveling, well, no saving and money. Don't think about travel anywhere.

My Microsoft Server 2012 Exam Over

And I failed. The worst part was knowing the final score right away after the exam time over. Do I feel disappointed, no, I don't. But failing is not something to feel happy about since I folk out a lot of money on this course. To be honest, I didn't expect able to score 525 (700 passing score) in the exam. Well, not bad for the first try on server exam.

I got to admit this exam is not something easily can be pass without touching and working in the real world servers a lot. While nowadays it is easy to deploy in VMware for learning. I personally find it not enough to understanding and familiar with its major built in tools.

Secondly, there are simply too many restriction on real world deployment due to my other colleagues were not familiar (disagreement) with Window Server 2012 even my boss particularly doesn't allow me to implement too much group policy and some great features in the server. This greatly affecting my ability learning not to mention I rarely had the time to sit down properly focusing configuring and check out my first Window Server 2012 standard deploy for the new setup company when I have to deal with my current PC technician profession.

Lastly, virtualization is something I really wanted to try. It simply not possible when a company had restrict funds getting second server, upgrades and licenses for deployment. Only unless I fucking able to hit a big jackpot, I definitely getting server and PC deploy in my own room for live testing and learning which will be much easier. But well, no money, no talk.

I'm not really sure if I want to retake the examination next year. It's not cheap from what I ask from the folks at TechOne Global. But my current plan right now should try to get the CompTIA A+ since I am more familiar and working experience on the field for so long as PC Technician. It just that I need to gather materials and books to study.

Agro-Technology Park Open

To be honest, the name of the park doesn't sound suitable at all. Technology? Sound like big plan ahead, but still, not many details and information how they going to expand this project building better tourist attraction.

I haven't visit yet but I am still left with great impressed with the Garden by the Bay in Singapore.

Back from Two Weeks Journey to Cambodia and Singapore

There are so many things to rearrange and tidy up clothing after coming back from vacation. I am terrible broke right now because the pre-Christmas discount sales in Singapore are getting crazy every few days and I became a bitch shopper over there which I almost went broke.

I need time to sort things out before I can continue talking about my life and different things experience over there. I am glad making right choice taking extra one day off after having a bit jet lag and weird feeling coming back home.

On the Second Thought

Everyone heard about the good services and popularity at BIBD bank. Almost majority of people jump over there open saving account due to the good interest rates and others, loan. I wanted to do the same, but I decided not for my own sake of privacy.

Opening a personal saving account normally an easy task for everyone. However, BIBD done a little changes to the rule and they require your company letter before you can proceed. That I don't understand why. A personal saving account require to involved my company I work for? For what? I'm not requesting any salary transfer or requested by and not to mention I'm not applying any loan or something. It just a personal saving that I wanted to grow my wealth.

I don't really know how other feel about this, for my opinion, this is a stupid request. My personal saving account is 100% for my own personal private life. Requesting a company letter to open a private bank account it's just like exposing and telling your own financial secret to your employer.

For your information, this rule started after the BIBD move to their new office in KB. I'm not sure if their employee made mistake but I still not to happy about such requirement no matter what.

Ouch! Two Months of Private Warehouse Orders

I guess storing too many orders within two months in the HLJ private warehouse really hit me hard with the shipping fee this time. Some orders are a mistake on my part, but well, can't be help. Heh!

The photo speaks everything (not all really) except the Kotobukiya parts are still both pack together. The ordering were quite special this time around. I mostly hunt for classic kits and was happy seeing the classic Gundam F91 Silhouette Formula kits arrived! I really can't wait to build them but I wanted to grab more Gundam F90 and F91 kits before starting the projects next year. The good news is, they are pending to be re-release this coming December!

The Trouble of Dog Killers

That fuckers really done it this time! I can't believe this bastard went around poisoning the dogs even those with registered badges! My dogs are heavily affected and one died on the spot. The other one is still suffering and screaming for whole days. This seriously bad disturb the neighbours especially during at midnight. I wanted to bring the dog to the vet as I willing to help pay half for it because the medical expense does not come cheap. But the owner until now didn't give any damn answer, probably my guess she doesn't give a shit about it.

Now my sister and I could do is tried our best putting panadol and put in sugar to the water for the dog to relieve some pains at the same time avoid screaming trouble at night. However, the poison is terrible strong that could have done a lot of damage. So I try to give stomach relieve medicine to see if it would work. Nonetheless, the dog is stubborn not eating the medicine and cheat us throwing it out. I have to use force and watch her. Damn, this is headache.

Preparing for 3rd Local Gunpla Competition

While it is too late to speculate if the 3rd EACON will be held this year, I take no chances waiting and preparing my submission early as my long vacation is coming very close this November. I haven’t been flying for four years and it is time to do so. I am going to spend at least two weeks in Singapore staying at my brother place and travel to Cambodia checking out the ancient wonder. I’m thinking about visiting the neighboring Legoland as well, depending how my schedules so finger cross at the moment until I am there.

As usual, my Gunpla category entry will be different (secret). Again, depending how my current work progress because until now I am stuck with the weapons of choice and modifications of the upper area. This is the most challenging work I ever spend for two months figuring ideas making good use of the existing left over parts and trying to fix the damage area. I can’t back out half way, if I do. Two months of effort building would be completely pointless so I decided to move forward no matter if it messed up.

I still require some unique option parts to fix the current modification. Once I settle my credit card debt this week, I will ship out all the orders in my private warehouse from HLJ. I got to admit my existing orders are sure a lot these past months.

Everyday Has a New Problems

Shitty things just never stops coming. Apart from facing daily jobs issue and dealing with asshole, my sister is pissing me off as well. Man, I really wish there are ways to get away from this entire problem.

While my stress has calming down for while maintaining healthy lifestyle going for better eating behavior, exercises and get an early sleep. Yes, my life becoming more boring than ever when I myself even questioning do I have friends at all. I usually take night out with friends at Saturday night. But my head get spinning whenever I stay very late at always happen during 10.00PM. Not sure if this is about reaching certain age of effect or getting use to early sleep.

At work, I don’t really want to think much about it. I personally feel the place I work are getting messy and changing month by month. People too change, it doesn’t really feel good continue working at such environment. As for job hunting, IT is fuck up in Brunei. It is rarely available and the requirement is the biggest hit on my resume. I guess it’s time to take up new suitable courses to self improve for other more job option than ever.

Well, as for my sister. She really pissed me off and becomes so irresponsible person. I can’t believe she becomes so lazy and fucking hate it when trying to trigger beef with the owner (step-mother) sometimes. She doesn’t want to dump the rubbish and left it for days smell like shit in the kitchen and I had to do instead. We get into fight also because she felt that working late or stress doesn’t deserve to take weekly turn feeding the dogs. I entirely fed up with her behaviors and don't even wanted to talk to her.

My mom always told me we have to work together as a sibling to face hardship together. But with her stubborn behavior like that, I felt like I no longer care anymore.

Priority My Ass!

Man, Telbru and HSBC really have a rival competition for being the worst customer services. After having headache with Brunei domain issue, now I have to deal with my company internet problem. I really doesn't know how can their improvement on customer supports becoming worst and worst over time.

I can feel that Telbru doesn't have any idea what is important means to the business users. I know the Consumer Fairs started on Thursday and at the same time my company experiencing huge down time on the internet speeds. Now, if you are expecting business users are told they are getting the highest priority help from the technical supports. You better don't believe a single fucker words those operators said and ongoing for third days now without seeing single cunts dropping by or response from Telbru. In case of how impatience I am and wonder how bad our internet speed was, let's take a look at the screen shots below.

garbage_espeed

Well, I ran every screen shots test in the morning and afternoon to monitor the speed testing directly getting the similar results these past few days. I was fucking annoyed by the users and scolded so badly because my managements can't send a proper emails to its clients. I call 121 morning and afternoon continuous for three days yet without any response from their on site technical support. Is this what you call priority service, Telbru?

Seriously, I wish someone could sue this son of bitches ISP for fucking up people business using their ridiculous internet service and a law forcing Telbru refund its customers money policy when their internet are bunch of craps which did not even meet the speed they promise to provide.

iShop2Go Reveal GK Gundam as Sister Site

gkgundam

I won't be updating my review for the iShop2Go and planning to do review for GK Gundam because they are basically run by same owners or person. All the Gunpla pricing should remain the same including the shipping even they move all their existing products there.

To be honest, I am really disappointed about them as a customer. Not only they didn't inform us they could get limited Gunpla from P-Bandai and selling resin kits. Instead, they kept quiet and create more complicated ways, such as making it's existing customers to open another account and had to purchase some products that were not found at iShop2go separately at the sister site secretly for years. What worst that its existing customers are paying more on unreasonable extra shipping cost separately.

Yes, I knew about the sister site from last year when I first visit after someone told where to get the P-Bandai Gunpla. It's easy to find out about it because the price and promotion gave it away the hints also the top ten product review video posted at the site. I do feel bad not mentioning in my blog but speculating without proof might get me into trouble. So I rather wait and see. Since the owner personally went public announced at their front page, I still felt they gave a bad impressions hiding the sister site identity.

There is no doubt that so far they are the only Gunpla shop I know that still offering a good price for Chinese Hobby magazines with limited kits online from Hong Kong. Nonetheless, it is advisable to be careful and do more survey on the pricing because there are now many products that sold more expensive for some reason.

The Headache using Brunei Domain for Email

Bashing my own country domain name isn’t something I really like to blog about. But after the problem started two or three years ago facing undeliverable and experiencing lost mails to our clients. I would encourage not to register dot COM dot BN domain as your primary email for business communication even they are considering the cheapest hosting in Brunei.

I myself really had enough hard time dealing with my own company users having issue with the email from time to time. It's so frustrating seeing these complain happening every month. Calling for Telbru to report the problem doesn't solve much and the worst solution I received was asking to applied for 3rd party SMTP service rather using their existing smtp.brunet.bn. I'm sorry but why bother to do email hosting in the first place? Most importantly, they can't accuse me telling lie because I still kept the past conversation between the technical guys today for safety evidence.

Of course, there are responsibilities on our side to make sure we didn't block our clients using spam & virus firewall. That was hardly happened because I was assigned to setting up a new company with only a small number users who also experience exact email issue without using any spam and virus firewall. Not to mention we tested with different espeed IP and domain names in different site office location also having the same problem. So what exactly went wrong?

I asked a few network experts on this issue and got the same answer. We have to look back at our ISP hosting setup. While I am no way claim to be expert on understanding everything. According to them, either they configure wrongly with the firewall setting filtering sensitive words (security reason) or randomly went into their junk mails or the routing locations may have cause disappearing for both incoming and outgoing messages no matter the company domain name is clean while using smtp.brunet.bn.

This explain a lot and I do have to agree on that. If such cases happen quite a lot every month. The final recommendation is switch entirely to other hosting services. I know a few local company do indeed already head for global dot com. I know people do feel the local companies don't support Brunei domain. You got to think, email communications not reaching both side effect business. Who wants that? And eSpeed are still crappy in industrial area that never solve today! What makes you think they should continue to trust the local ISP?

Steam Summer Hunt kept Me Busy!

Well, what can I say about disappearance on blogging? Damn, the Steam summer sales really the coolest place to hunt down great discount games. During the sales, I was able to hunt down few great games like all Company of Heroes, Shogun 2: Fall of the Samurai, Hitman Absolution, Deadlight, Touchlight 2 and The Last Renment.

These games already could already keep me company for months if I planned to play non-stop. However, what I don't like about Steam sometimes were great games can't be purchase in certain countries. It sucks, really. I don't understand the reason behind this and let's take X-COM Enemy Unkown for example. You will never be able to find in Steam if you are living in Brunei. Weirdly, The Bureau: X-COM Declassified is available (pre) purchase but not X-COM: Enemy Unknown.

I'm not sad and thinking giving up going for the physical purchase. Luckily, I got Malaysian friends using Steam so the easier way is asked them to purchase and send me as gift! Problem solved! I really got to say, I am really addicted to the turn based game and I am looking forward getting The Bureau: X-COM Declassified and Final Fantasy VII. Only when there are sales because money is really tight these days. LOL!

Old Car Loves Money

It only just the first week of July, I already lose $430.00. What a headache! I never expecting so much faulty parts coming out from the old car when driving for so long on the road. As far I concern at first, replacing timing belt is the first priority before even the expire numbers. But seriously, this is real bad affect on my financial. Gosh, so many things I wanted to buy~!

The LEGO® Movie - Official Teaser Trailer [HD]

This caught me surprise that actually coming next year!

Gundam Treasure Hunt! #1

Hooah! Heh, hunting down hard to find and previous missed out limited goodies sometimes does bring joy when you finally able to obtain through the power of the internet. I do admit it does cost a lot of money. To me, keeping a good patience mind eventually will get you the best price rather spending triple.

I'm sure majority would go and search at eBay. Well, its true that we could find plenty of limited goodies there. But for book publication limited released toys are different especially Gundam plastic kit. I myself rarely able to spot the right price and sometimes require to bid for it. Plastic kit never worth your time on bidding. Reason is simple. We cut, destroy, modify, assemble, and paints. You can only go for either the sellers sold them for a right price or bundle them in attractive sets for bid.

Another problem I am facing with eBay is using the search engine. They rarely get the items right occasionally and had to spent more time checking through some discover sellers store for possible items. Of course, every time I got were ridiculous price range.

Luckily someone introduced me to check out Rakuten. It does have similar eBay shopping like, but almost all items that sold over there are entirely from Japan instead. The price is good and sometimes you get promotion on reduced shipping. I recommend readers to check it out if you look for any possible limited stuffs that can't be found on eBay.

Disappointed Outcome Decisions

One of the main problem working in big private sector company was dealing with people who actually can fuck up your job anytime. While this kind of issues can be consider very common nowadays and happens to anyone in the world. A company shouldn't have continued to practice of such behaviors. I do understand taking care more than hundreds of employees aren't an easy task to begin with. If you continue to not listen or believe their opinions then the company are just only losing good employees.

Of course I’m not doubting the manager's ability performing and managing its employees. But what I more pissed off was having someone else who isn't a fucking IT could simply steps in taking charge of the computer hardware's without any single discussions and proper planning before distributing like wild fire. Over time, this actually becomes uncontrollable problems and seeing a good business PC one by one turned into trash. Even the warrantying the hardware causes major questioning of large numbers of same problem likely putting us losing the warranty claims. The end results weren't only wasting company budgets but also affecting our job schedules as well.

I already had a good plans ahead what to do with it and that could already solved at least 60% of the company today problem and spending. The reason of such confidences because during my more than three years working with them. I have spent a lot of efforts carefully observed, managing, knows how many numbers of aging computers, software issues and how the users uses in the site office environments.

Now all years of hard work and efforts are ruining. I'm not a person who work there only takes money who like doing nothing watching to go worst. It is my job to improved and make it better. With such bad decisions handed down by the managements who choose not to consults with the IT for opinions really disappoints me. This is very tiring and to start over again, I better off looking somewhere else. Damn the good offer just never pops up yet.

The Fail Customer Services in Brunei

That would be the HSBC! While I do have problem with Telbru and sometimes complained them, at least they did try to change and improved their customer’s service support. HSBC is getting worst every year and got me nearly slamming the table in their Seria center from my last experience over the credit card issue. Even their 24 hours hotline call service doesn’t work from time to time until today. No I’m not lying. This is true and can guarantee I’m not the only person having this kind of experience.

The hotlines are so fucked up that you can only able to get someone during working days. I had done a few tried calling at night when having trouble swiping the credit card. All I got the same answer from the auto response from the system was told to call back during working hours. This isn’t the first time, it been ongoing for weeks and happens again after few months when I call during morning on Sunday. This got me so rage logging complains for answer when the lost card phone line didn’t even work too.

I don’t really want to say it was any help at all. Unless I wanted to go that far records in video and posted it in YouTube to shame them. But I didn’t, not because I am coward. There are things we have to be extra aware of. HSBC is a global bank. So messing with them may get you into unimagined worst scenarios. Well, if I am millionaire. It would be different stories because they are asshole mainly served rich people better.

There is definitely something fishy going on in HSBC starting last year. The Seria branch already got tons of complains and slow services making customers waited at least one-two hours because of lacks of hired employees. That’s not the whole story I’m sure of as I slowly seeing many familiar ex-employee s faces working in other companies nowadays. Same goes the over and over again same lucky draw promotions.

Building GM Using GM Sniper II Resin kit

The Amuro Ray GM Custom built can be consider my experiment and study project. Both plastic kits are cheap so I don't have to worried about breaking and damaging while working half way. So far everything working out fine except during an accident from the wind blow into the ground scratching the whole kits paints.

GM (Amuro Ray Custom)

It's been a while I haven't posted anything related to the plastic modeling. This year has been slow and maintaining budgets avoiding buying Gunpla. The remaining Gunpla kits really gives me headache and require certain kits in order to continue or complete the work for my projects. Luckily, starting the GM direction landed me a new ideas helping me to get rid some of the resin kits I got from Model Kit World. Yup, the GM Sniper II conversion kit. I will explain my work in the next post. Oh, I can't believe this is going to be 1000 posts!!!

A Must Keeping Up with Career Upgrade

Geezzz!!! I can't believe all these years been behind so much on the new technology today. If it weren't about pushing myself into upgrading IT career. All the future are just only anime, manga and toys. Anything else put on the side for long be forgotten becoming useless person in the end sucking same job over and over again while continue taking advantage.

Study never my favorite bits in life. But after seeing how the Governments done to this country education system, my career position was entirely threatened by it. My friends always told me there aren't anything to afraid or worry. I beg the different. I don't want to reveal and express my angers over what's going on. There is nothing to blame and understand very clear accessing to educations 13-15 years ago compared to now are huge different.

Luckily the courses are now affordable (continue to lower year by year) and much easier access in Brunei. It is good opportunities to advance, well I do feel it is considered late. There are times with no escapes in this world. The companies are now less looking into work experience without certifications. You know the papers needed to get them more attentions. I know it's not always true. You just need to think another side of the unexpected outcome.

Brunei Citizenship Exam is Over

Wow, finally the exam is over. A lot of friends give a good luck message before the test start. Sorry to disappoint them, once I started to flip the papers. Okay, after sitting in the chair, the fail light was already turned on. The two months time frame simply just too rush for forgetful person like me especially bad in writing Malay. In the end, it was just reckless gamble written exam including some English words. TERRIBLE! I just can't stop laughing myself writing down in the 'Karangan'.

But I do have to admit the examination paper is easy because many country questions and free points are giveaway. Those who took the tuition classes or already started studies and memorizes early last year will definitely no doubt going to hit big this time. Even I believe the passing rate (not me) going to be higher records all time.

Well, no point to continue feeling sad. It's over and time to move on preparing Microsoft Server 2012 exam next. I pay a lot saving on this course so this is more important reason have to study real hard.

The Despair on Upcoming Citizenship Exam

Wow! Five days of Microsoft Windows Server 2012 training really passes so fast and this feeling is like just five minute. The only thing left now is focusing more on the studies, taking another round in the training video and run more practical exam before taking the real examination anytime. This is one of the good thing about Microsoft learning. You don't have to rush to achieve something when you are not fully prepare.

Unlike the Brunei Citizenship, the examination is coming this Wednesday. People keep telling me best of luck. But sorry, this is just not happening. I am entirely not prepare and fail is the confirm word coming from my heart. The entire situation doesn't look that good and not allow to postpone next year. You had to fail first, get the confirmation letter and waste time reapply again.

I tried doing at least contribute two hours study, slowly translating the meaning and memorizing every day. But I just kept forgetting, very easily and not to mention there have different meaning require more time to search. This subject never once were my favorite in the lifetime and do well in school. After this, I am really done.

12 May, 2013

My First Microsoft Course

I really sacrifice a lot of saving (Yes, self sponsor!) on this Windows Server 2012: 20410 training course at TechOne. While I do process self experience deploying servers in real life. However depending on the DIY concepts sometimes does put you in wrong directions and even without understanding how to properly configures the servers. It will definitely put both your career and job at huge risk working in large organizations.

Many of my colleagues are self learned from experience from old days, Google search and not even 100% certified nowadays. They may even dump aside the problems without troubleshooting or forget what they may have ever done. So I really feel insecure working in such environments. I already encounter such scenario incidents so many times and it's really unhappy situations for everyone.

Things really change a lot after attending this training class. I won't say I have more confidence than ever before. But it is best to know the correct ways working with Window servers and take advantage on its (existing) features at least giving me more ideas and security. I do find some of the topics quite hard and man, study suck! Luckily, the instructor are really friendly and I was able to abuse more help from him solving my many mysteries problems that hunted me for so many years until now actually left unsolved.

The only thing that tired me was driving up and down from BSB. More than one hours drive is no joke when there are rains and sudden traffics (now in KB-Seria and Seria-Lumut) create so much frustration. Not to mention no longer allow speeding and again, encountering crazy reckless drivers. Anyway, reaching there safe and sound is what everyone wants. Two more days to go until training class finished.

Telbru Customers Support Becoming Confusing and Slow

When a nation only have one internet service provider, usually their biggest problem will be customers services and second coming by internet speed. We already know internet speed is already fed up problem haunted to many of us not seeing Telbru taking action, especially in those priorities oil & gas business and industrial areas hardly getting 2Mbps. I worked in Anduki area for coming four years without seeing a single action bother to allow them getting 5Mbps until now.

I do had a lot to say about their speed but now I needed to talk about their customers services. While I don't get a lot dealing and calling 121 to solved internet problem for months. Only this April, a few site office I have to go and deal with it personally because Telbru system have done something silly.

No one know for sure if the company went through a new transformation for the customer supports area. I am not impressed by how they deal with technical issues with confusing way and not to mention taking even longer time to response. This is indeed getting more nightmare than ever.

One of the trouble cases is dealing with no internet at one of site office. I found we can't get any IP address from Telbru exchange system. Phone line working and swapping another modem still not working. So I asked the person in charge to call 121 hotlines on Friday. I already expecting the technician won't come on Saturday so I was hoping on Monday. Yes, it comes in at 5.30PM and can't do single shit because he is a rookie without senior accompany.

Again, we have to wait until next morning. He brings in the senior and get the work started. My person in charge calls me and say they tested the internet is fine directly connect using their laptop and network tool. They say our modem was fine and probably it's our router problem. Now, this is when you shouldn't let these Telbru technicians run off until you tested personally if it really the case. My person in charge made that mistake letting them run off after finding the internet still not working connecting to our systems.

This whole thing pisses me off that it delay our company performance and business, yes my mistake as well not over seeing personally had to attend other site office. Of course, before you going to fire off on someone. You have to investigate again and making sure if they are right. I did few cycle test on three desktop, one laptop and direct to wireless router, not a single one internet working.

I made 121 calls to reopen the case and asked those guys to come back for retest. The internet did indeed working when using the rookie laptop. The question is why only his? If the internet truly working, any desktop and laptop or normal and wireless routers will eventually works without problem. This problem is a bit new to me. But at least he smart enough to call the Telbru HQ for assistance. To waste no time, I have to took over and chat with the female on the phone to understand whats going on.

The conversation eventually went far confusing when she asked me if I want to choose the modem setting only connect directly to the PC or router to get internet. Seriously? What the fuck, another rookie? Otherwise, you won't expect this kind of silly question.

Patience, I just request her to do whatever it can release and renew the IP from their system side to see the result. Luckily it work straight away. Again, I stop the rookie trying to walk off during the testing until everything are certain working.

It really disappointed this whole situation have to wasted so much time and days fixing just a IP address issue. I don't want to blame the rookie for inexperience, but it is unacceptable the senior toss him alone to deal with us without proper guideline troubleshooting internet problem when I have to be the one telling him what had to be done.

Even yesterday, I made a call to Telbru for require assistance configuring the all-in-one modem. From operator transferring me to technical specialize, suddenly telling me he doesn't know and needed transferring to another specialize. Yet again who doesn't know passing to another one ended up not able to give me an answer and asked to wait for a call back. Three technical specialize who doesn't know the modem configurations raise a serious question who responsible putting them there in the first place.

Busy This N That

Blogging has been slow is now a normal routine in my life. Unless more than one or two months that mean I'm either dead or still sleeping in hospital bed. Now it's all about work, waiting and preparing Microsoft course, and especially upcoming Brunei Citizenship examination on 22th May that kept me so busy this year.

Nope I didn't take any Malay classes because every month I always run out of money. However the biggest issue is Malay subject I am never ever good at. Starting from primary four to form five, it were all a straight fail in examination. So I have no single confidence over the Brunei Citizenship examination when comes to writing Malay. Not a single topic are even easy, can't understand, forget how to even write and memorizing already kill me off badly. It has to start from scratch no matter what.

While people always say you can sit again for next year, I have no plan on doing so. Call me anything you like but I decided to simply focus improving and possibly changing my current career. Finding a job are so hard these days and clock continuous ticking waiting to get kick out from the bitch house. It just feel like time are running out of some sort in life.

Brunei Slaps Harsh Laws on Christians. REALLY?

While I don't really like commenting too much on religious, unless it's ridiculous or stupid daily stories passes down by generation (and by books). From what 30-days.net claim in their website regarding harsh law on Christian article really quite new to me for a person living 30 years in Brunei.

No one knows how or when did this kind of story actually happen in Brunei. But I do have to say it was totally baseless statement posted by this Admin without doing careful research into this. Perhaps could be this person went to public openly illegally promoting Christianity who got kick out from the country. Otherwise how do they wanted to making up such story from the beginning? However, this person have to be grateful that it didn't end up staying in jail and get harsh punishments by the Brunei law.

Let me correct this one of the biggest mistake statement about “...Christians seeking opportunities for higher education must leave the country to access universities.”.

Well, not unless you are seeking and your future must only choose Christian's University. The ministry of education never picky over what races or religious you are. As long you are doing very good in your educations and willing to continue contribute your effort helping Brunei growth. His Majesty and the governments will sponsor those to get scholarship and even sent you to foreign University to studies.

“Evangelism is strictly forbidden and some local Christians have been arrested and detained for planning outreach to the population.”

Again, not unless you stupidly head on approach Muslim to convert Christianity. That is really the biggest mistake that shouldn't be done in any Islam countries. Even I who didn't have any highest education background know this simple rule that they can never in life convert to other religious as long you (Muslim) are staying here.

“Christian based (expatriate) schools must give instruction in Islam to all students and are not allowed to teach Christianity.”

For your information, this is a must and long time passed down restricted rules for private or international schools in Brunei. These are not just applied to Christian, other religious too. I think the instruction in Islam could be referring to MIB (Melayu, Islam and Beraja). It is every schools nowadays compulsory subject but know that it's not trying to asked us to become Muslim. MIB is simply given us more insight information that this country are only governing by Malay, teaching in Islam and rule by monarch.

Lastly, it's quite interestingly that mention “...a foreign English teacher simply prayed for blessings on a Malay family during the Eid al-Fitr celebrations (at the end of Ramadan) was given 48 hours to leave the country.

That I really like to know how and why in full details. There isn't any news mentioning in the search so I take it as fake until we found evidence from the news and truth.

Popular 3rd Party Out from RK

Most probably majority of the Transformers toy collectors already knew about Robot Kingdom stop selling at least three popular 3rd party title products. It took me a quite long to notice them not selling Fansproject, Maketoys and Mastermind Creation. While I don't know the specific real reasons behind this but the guesses and answer can be found at both TFW2005 and Seibertron forum for further information if you decided to dig deeper.

Since they selling quite a good selling price and offer best combine shipping fee in Asia. I do find it very troublesome and unhappy no longer able getting these popular 3rd party new products through RK. With the power of the internet, of course I do have many sources where to easily get. However, this actually facing increase spending more either on the selling price or shipping fee issue on other online stores. The worst will be both and don't forget we are paying using US dollar nowadays.

US dollar may continue remain weak today, I discover some online shops in Asia actually increases the value of the 3rd party toys nearly 20-30%. Yeah, it kinda suck and got to be more extra careful without blowing your god damn hard earn money.

Right now, my suggestion is looking alternatively into Japanese Yen. The exchange rate is so good this year that today I actually able get B$1 vs 76 Yen after paying all my stash hiding at the HLJ private warehouse. If you plan buying Japanese toys or books this month, look no further jumping back right in or double check again using PayPal currency rate.

Now, how about getting 3rd party Transformers toys from Japan? You can check out Upgrade Commander, which is best site getting Maketoys brand and better price with the help of higher exchange rate for Yen. I already pre-order my long love for Paladin and Missle Launcher for Power Combiner. It is expected to release this month and I can't wait to review the baddy!

Keeping Aging Car Off Brunei Road?

This is worrying for me. As much I don’t really like comments or bother reading about LegCo meeting and conversations for the past weeks. Pehin Goh who brought this topic up really pissed me off. While I do agree some part about problem with aging cars, I don’t see how the aging cars is only to blame on affecting the traffic congestion’s, air pollution and high petrol spending.

What surprise me is Pehin Goh talks about fuel consumptions. He own a car companies and should already realize any cars that have higher CC engine consume more fuels and that's why we spend even more lah! ALAMAK!!!

It also pointless to argue about environment friendly. Why? Even new diesel cars, continue to produce black smoke in a long run after two or three years and sorry, this is true. No matter it's a gas saver, if people are stingy about spending money maintaining or servicing the cars. Same thing continue happen above. Advise? Well, I dump STP gas cleaning fluid into the gas tank before fueling every month and actually kept out smoke coming from my aging car. I have been using for two years so car still alive if you wonder.

The transportation in Brunei are truly limited access when it comes to locations. Improving require time and real experts to study implementing correct transportation needs. If a dumbass can build an Ugama school near residents housing area and going to cause traffic congestion soon. How do you expect locals and foreigners taking bus to work every day?

Now traffic congestion, how the fuck aging car is only to blame? Traffic congestion can be anything, new or old cars break down and technical failure all the time. Car accidents, terrible road conditions, slow heavy vehicles, shits fall from the transport truck, slow police respond to else the traffic or accident and so on.

I owned a 23-24 years old Toyota Corolla wagon and this car have encountered a lot of technical failures. But the spare parts cost are cheaper, easy to maintain without worrying much and the cost of the fuel consumption never that high as it claim by him. Thanks to it, I was able to save a lot money on gas during the financial income problem and gives me more time finding better job back then.

If this kind of law implement before they even fix the transportation issue. I can survive because I have one less responsible. How about those earning low pay job who unable to get a new car? What even worst for those of us who can't even own a house?

A Plan into Different Job

when you having a hard time finding a new job, there are four choices to choose from. One, continue to stay in unhappy (or low pay) company. Second, just quit. Third, take latest courses upgrading yourself and try again. Lastly, choose and try a different job that not in your current expertise

Second is definitely not in my choice, unless I am rich. Too bad, I never will. However, the first and third are continued to be the best selection no matter how bad you going to face tomorrow. Yes, I will be attending the Tech One Global training for Microsoft Window Server 2012 course next month. The price does indeed quite expensive for each subjects. This is for the best, luckily with my friend help. I was able to get a bit lower rate for it.

While I continue to wait for confirmation on the correct training date. The last choice has already becomes my next planning stage for next year. It is very tough choice to make after working as a IT Support Technician for so many years. Sudden switching to a new different job does hurt my career and time, even affecting the salary rate.

I'm not going for accounting, when it comes to calculating. I am terrible suck at it. Admin job, I am okay because I work on from time to time. To my surprise, someone did offer me a maintenance coordinator position and waiting for my confirmation. At the same time, it offers me continue to work as IT Support Technician and admin helper. Technically speaking, it's a multitasking career.

Of course I am expecting a raise on the salary part and willing to take on this challenge. But I want to expect something more in life experience, maybe heading out working in another countries and hoping for no annoying Saturday work! Yeah, continue in my dream.

Lego Galaxy Squad 70700, 70704 and 70705

Damn how I love Lego announcing new space theme and releasing to Asia market this year. It sure took quite a while seeing the local shop bringing Galaxy Squad in. I manage to grab two large set and a small one before someone took everything away. Well the Space Swarmer (70700) were definitely first gone.

Only the Swarm Interceptor (70701) and Warp Stringer (70702) which I decided to hold until next month. Surprisingly, if I didn't go to check out the Youtube review on the Lego Galaxy Squad. The Star Slicer (70703) never seen, even the Lego US official website haven't listed out in the product page yet. I really love that armor car so I hope we can see releasing in Brunei and TRU, hopefully.

Space Swarmer (70700)

Sold for B$19.90 and the first to be built.

Vermin Vaporizer (70704)

GNX Lost Its Thigh!

This is what I hate the most when I nearly begin working on the spray painting for completion. Instead, I just (surprising) found out the whole GNX thigh went missing! Not sure where the heck did it fall into and searching around without any single trace. Gosh! Now I'm need to start a new project this week again.

Even though there are other backlogs Gunpla I can start with. The work ideas never kicks in especially for scale 1/100. This is why I never recklessly owning MG (Master Grade) kits nowadays. Yes, the new release MG are improving and I do wanted to get them. But I will hold off next two or three years until I clear off the remaining Gunpla. For limited version, maybe I will change my mind.

Anyway, I am now doing some Gunpla and book clearing in FB. Check out the group if you are interested! BTW, in Brunei only.

Time for Upgrading My IT Career

After getting my bonus last year, I have been looking hard for new IT job and continue with no available until today. I keep asking myself, is it because without any certifications background they don't even bother to sightly look no matter you have experience? Feeling quite true and to be honest, without any CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network + and Microsoft certifications support. There aren't much can help to strengthen my CV to grab job in Brunei.

While there are people continue to say if you got longer job experience, you get higher chance landing new job anytime. Sadly, this is old thinking and not the right way planing for your career. I know it myself as everyone can feel Brunei is slowly changing and education are upgrading every year. This is why I am planning to attend training and taking examinations for self upgrade no longer a matter how much it cost.

So far the planning for the training will start with Microsoft Window Server 2012. I am still in discussion with my friend to help me get better price rate for the course next month if succeed. Not much confidence in studies, but you just got to have. After the Microsoft training completion, I will start going for CompTIA A+ & Network +.

Toys Collections Hiatus? Nope! But Slow...

Indeed I am now very slow on collecting toys nowadays. This year, my financial weren't looking that good either so I need to plan well and making sure there are some savings left around. However, I am not the only person in this world currently facing of such issue in life.

I don't want to say until now I haven't bought any toys because right now the Japanese Yen is improving lately. So using Hobby Link Japan private warehouse features, I can slowly take advantage focusing putting my the orders together and shipped out every two months to save more on shipping which is a very good idea. If there were discount and can be brought direct from the local shops, I will purchase if the price are better compared to online shops.

For sure there will be a lot of missing favorite toys in my shelf by now. For so many months of monitoring and watching the stocks availability. I was quite surprised most of them continue to stay in stock despite many are popular among the collectors. Of course, time is the enemy. Once it run out, price jack up too in eBay. It doesn't matter to me anymore, as long it is not 100% my favorite. I am fine seeing to let go. It just a way controlling my habit and rampage spending on every toys I like.

Demerit Points System Trial Start on May in KB

DPS (Demerit Points System) trial announced coming on May this year for Belait district. No one knows where they plan to installed this hardware's at. But you guys better start learning driving slowly not exceeding speed limit. There aren't any single bonus 1 or 2 KM/H so this is a bit challenging for most of our behaviors changes especially without cruise control support in some older cars.

I get this information from the officers when they hand out the handbook during the safety check last two weeks ago in Anduki industrial area. I spend some times reading it and did find some questionable rules that doesn't make sense to me. For example, crossing lines and other markings on carriageways are stated as offense. Now, when our roads conditions in Brunei never well maintains, fuckup and holes around that would put us in danger. We have to force to cross the lines to avoid self accident. Are we going to get offense ticket or minus DP?

Another one, failure to stop when accident occurs. It didn't explain clearly in what scenario, it is when accident occur after the drivers hit another cars or we see other drivers' cars accident when passing by? If there are already people render assistance those people in car accident. Do we need to get down as well to help? If yes, aren't it going to cause major traffic jam when more and more drivers get down busybody checking out?

Meh, there are many unexplainable scenario that would occur every day. If those police or officers simply rate the drivers' offenses without proper evidence or even understand what's going on. I grantee locals are going to pissed off and burn down that system. We will see how it goes.

Brunei to takes on Pirated Software’s

After reading the article over at BT, I believe this year we might be seeing new IP law changes in Brunei. Even though it is my responsible doing research which free commercial software can be encourage to deploy by the company. The local companies behaviors today continue to ignore and pirating software without any fear of getting raid.

Yes, I am very concern about this as a IT Support Technician but no longer care if they don't bother to care and listen. I don't really sees much of them taking these seriously and quite pissed off over insisting me to installed pirated programs so this issue had to go direct to the head awaiting for decision.

The raids can be happen anytime and done by anyone who doesn't like the competitors. It already happen three years ago to EcoPrime Networks Sdn Bhd. No one knows how much fine local Microsoft charge for each PC using their counterfeit products. In Malaysia sale of counterfeit law, it's between RM$100,000.00 and up to RM$500,000.00 offense The news mentions the EcoPrime had over 200 units so it's enough to shut down the company entirely for good.

If you are newly start-up local companies, I really encouraged proper planning using all free and genuine software’s. Be warned that TechOne Global not just only distributing Microsoft products, they are now including Adobe products.

Ferrari and Shell Lego Promo Sets (30190-30196)

HA! I wasn't expecting the Miri Shell station would sell the Lego promotional sets after seeing my friend assemble in the office. That was a big mistake showing it to me so they need to help me get a whole sets if they went over to refuel their cars. BTW, RM$12.90 each so it was a big saving compared getting from eBay.

NBT Lucky Draw Get's Flipping Table

After watching these video, everyone of us really wanted to know the whole story. According to one of my friend mention in the wall, the customers apparently got pissed off due dissatisfaction changes to the rules and unfair NBT lucky draw during at the Brunei Consumer Fair 11 event. NBT already clarify the situations in both BB and BT newspaper.

Rumors and speculations floating around my Facebook none stop for few days saying that NBT statements are bullshit so I decided to sniff around for a bit accurate information. First of all, an update, one of the lucky draw customers (in the video) who flipped the tables finally got himself a prize from NBT lawyers. The managements aren't going to let this slide easily because his action causes so much commotion in the event, also hurting someone and damaging the reputation of Toyota brand.

I have no idea how can a brand be affected by this. If it weren't the NBT managements making very bad decisions and arrangement, this situation would never occur. Not only they fail to mention there will be satellite draw venue held in KB showroom. They told Majority of the KB customers must go capital to be eligible entering the draw in the first place. How can not they pissed off big time? Comon, more than two hours drive up and down is fucking tiresome.

As for the guy who throw the table, he is just fucking stupid. He should have just walked away and never buy Toyota again. Now instead ended up getting lawsuit and awaiting jail time. Well, a good lesson to those having mindset thinking yellow IC can get away with anything. Apologizing is the only option for him right now.

Bitch Done It Again!

Fuck me and my sister born from low class family without money. I got to thanks to my dad again for loving second wife so much giving everything to her, EVERYTHING. The backfire from her was a terrible damn begin with moving into the house when my father still alive. Now his gone for more than 8-9 years, things just get worst and worsen.

What I usually get pissed off by her always pulling off stupid stunt just to signal us demand more money. Well, she just doesn't want to work so this time she stops our cars parked into the garage and only allow outsider. She really pushes my limit and until I asked her what the fuck is the meaning of this.

Every year I did try to raise a bit on the monthly rent to shut her mouth when my company give me increment. I buy some electronic parts for the house so that anything related to it faulty, she doesn't need to pay a cent. We cover telephone, electrical, water bills and pay on time so what the fuck went wrong?

The only and always goes into my mind got to do with my sister. Damn her paying the rent so little without a single raised every year. She just want to pick a fight with bitch and doesn't want to realize who’s house we are living in. Not a smart move, still same goes to the fucking bitch doesn't want to have a peace discussion about money.

The stunt this time she pulled off is entirely so bullshit. I told myself from this year onward we will no longer celebrate anything in that house. No Chinese New Year foods and drinks continue until we able to find our own house. I told my sister stop giving anymore 'ang pao' to the bitch daughter. The daughter is totally useless and spoiled even reaching the age of reasons. We should save this money as much as we can and prepare our best possible moving out in case she tries to fuck with us real bad again.

EACON 2012 – Plastic Model Competition (Winners)

Compared to 2011, I am satisfied with the competition results and happily seeing more modelers participate last year. Their work are great with creative builds and ideas. So far the category D received only one participation which is kinda sad.

Speaking of sad, one of the organizer 1/48 Mega Gundam fell off to the ground hitting and damaging the rest of the model kits at the event. The people claimed it was me who hit the table which I have no idea at all how it happen when I check the gap between me and the table was far off while I am taking photos.

Of course, I'm not really happy hearing about this because I wasn't the only person standing near the display tables. There were four more people if I remember correctly standing there busy chatting even closer to it. The outcome of this incident should include them.

It was hard to argue and pointing the back to the person are pointless unless someone accident films it that day. So we know if I am the one. But I got to thank Jong who told me about this. I asked him to look out the owners for me so that I can apologies directly and I did to avoid trouble. The tank and GP03 owners says its OK and nothing to worry about as he can fix it. The 1/48 Mega Gundam organizer is cool with it too. It was settled and again, if you (owner) read my post. I once again apologize damaging your Gunpla and the tanks.

At the end of the event, most of us in the category A participant gather up and having a nice chat sharing works. I'm sure some modeler aware my GM Cannon II “Anti-Ship Type” painting has a lot of questions. I remember one of them asking me why the Tamiya Gun Metal spray paint color turn out differently compared to his. Honestly, I have no good answer to that as I didn't apply any prime on my kit. All I did was sand, clean, wash, started spraying, dry in hot sun, applying decals and finally spraying Tamiya clear paint. That's the results.

Anyway, new year a new start. I haven't start working on any Gunpla yet while having back pain past few weeks clearing my office and barely sleep recently watching Game of Thrones I put on hold for so long. Damn, the sex scene so loud even my neighbor could hear.

Category A – 1/144 Winner: XN Banshee by Dennis Liew

Category B – 1/100 Winner: Omega Warrior by Kevin Hin

Category C – Open Winner: Battle Street December by Shukran Jafar

EACON 2012 – The Shops

It was great to see new community and shops setting in EACON last year. Even though I have no idea why a computer shop were setup in the events. Still it is good to see the place fill up with different interesting stuffs. I got to say the Yeszone – Enterprise from Seria wins the attention to the visitors.

The New Begin Again for 2013!

I'm back! New year mood is no longer ongoing and headache back at work. But man, new year really suck in Empire hotel. I don't know why the BB newspaper wrote it sounds like people enjoying over there. To be honest, it was sucked and fucking boring. Lots of people and family flowing over there plan to do shout out on count down together to pass the moody celebration. Instead, everyone found out the Empire held New Year Eve party that none of us can enter unless you paid.

None of us including the people in Empire enjoy anything at all. Others watching the dark sea and chatting. Some stand outside seeing others celebrate grabbing the balloon enjoying. In the end, I look at you and they look at me. Damn, fucking hilarious and stupid to celebrate end of the year like this.

Well, we already get use to it. Same old saying.
