HG Powered Zaku II F2 – W.I.P

This one is a bit quite a challenging kit to work on and first time merging with the old MG 1/100 Zaku parts. Lots of drilling works need to be done, also require different size of the poly parts ready if you plan to fits in with HG1/144.

As you can see, it’s not really perfect hand works so I fill some putty to repair, at the same time make it look better. I’m not using 2 hour fast dry putty since I still got half of the Tamiya 10 hours putty around. Better off not wasting, it just the problem needed to wait longer to dry. The rest of the kit sanding is nearly 100% complete so next month I can start coloring.

The photo here shows how it going to looks like in the final stage. Although I did have problem solving the energy pipes linking to the backpack and to the booster legs. Somehow I manage to find useless electrical wire to do the jobs. Not quite liking it much but it does solved my problem.

Empire Cinema MI4 Premier on 15th

I got to say the Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol is really good. Recommend everyone to watch tomorrow holiday if you got the time. The only complain so far is the chair really uncomfortable at Empire Cinema. This is why I don’t like watching movies at Empire after the first that I remember is Punisher.

The ticket they given to me somehow too close to the screen. What make me feel bad about it are many empty seats at the rear when I look back. I was like damn why they can’t even try to put us in the middle instead spreading us randomly? Someone is worse than me in the row. Hopefully next time Telbru could arrange better in the future.

Anyway, I got back home at 12 and sleep straight away. Not quite a nice trip because of heavy rain but after a while hitting the dry road. I became the need of speed and hoping some creatures would appear in front of me. Oh that’s the free t-shirt Telbru given to each of us!

Certification Worry

Although this currently just happen recently in Malaysia, I wonder if Brunei might follow one day. This indeed causes me worrying because I never had any certified IT background as mostly everything learned from self-study, job experiences and internet. The only time I did PC Technician course is at the local shop. Well, not even a local recognize paper.

Hate to say I am not a bookworm and like reading. Seriously I really need to start playing safe and came up cash to take some courses next year at ilm Academy. Otherwise I might both lose my job and have my car pull away. Geezzz…

Don’t laugh at me being bad educated person. You young folks need to worry as well. The past few days I did learned some information and changes about the educations in Brunei from the locals. Not sure how true is that, it was told that the UBD certification papers doesn’t recognize by other countries. Enlighten me that was not exactly true. However there are few confirm that somehow.

Of course you do have two choices if you happen get sponsors. Head over to UK three years or stay at UBD by completing five years. Flying to UK studies may sound very nice but if you plan to get master degree. You got to pay for it. Free? Oh you got wait for at least ten years’ time to get that chance, I heard.

I didn’t expect to win the ticket and t-shirt from Telbru. Well, what can I say? It was suck at first knowing got to drive all the way to the HQ at old airport to collect the prize. That was definitely so inconvenience way asking KB man like me to go up.

Not like I can’t take leave. But had to one week earlier so not possible. The only way is to ask if they can send it down. It was denied. I was WHAT? Luckily they gave me another option by going there on December 15^th and collect directly before screening. That was much better. Otherwise I might as well give up the prize.

Not entirely good thing too as I do find it suck watching on this Thursday, not to mention starting at 8.30PM. Seriously that was late and one hour trip there even work on the next day. Anyway, still a few days away better off not thinking anything now.

RGM79QH - GM Quel High Mobility

Really love the Advance of Zeta Gunpla kit! I spent quite a lot of time mixing to build a balance high mobility version of Quel. It has additional weapon and shield booster defense against beam weapon which I first thought why this shield booster is so different. Well, I am not kit bashing type so I usually look up in Gundam Wikia for information on those weapons and equipment’s to understand before starting to build and fitting into the UC lines.

Black Friday Root 2011

Another no posts for weeks, hate to say it always happen during third and fourth week of every month. Work does keep me company and tired after back from work. I wanted to go for a jog, the weather play it’s part on raining so much my body become more stressful and sleepy.

For most part, monitoring online activities doesn’t put me away especially Black Friday sales hunting. So far only Hobby Link Japan has a good deal on EMS shipping and this is what I get from the store below.

Some of you may wonder why I bother to get High Grade 1/100 Justice when Bandai (obviously) going to release the Master Grade version probably next year. Well, idea simply just pop up in my mind since I am quite a fan on Seed VS Astray design so Justice kit going to put in good use and mixing.

I also get Nix Providence because the half price is without doubt a good deal you simply can’t missed it. Same goes for HG Gundam & O Raiser for nearly only B$11.00. There weren’t much HGUC kit I am hoping for, but in the end manage to grab MS-06 Zaku F2 EFSF Ver as I needed the weapon parts so bad for Advance of Zeta I am currently working.

The rest are the Kotobukiya latest weapon units and option parts. The duct nozzles are needed for continuing Wagtail kits. Although I still need more stuff to begin my works, best to stock up first when you can get a good EMS shipping deal.

Model Kit World December 2011 with Sinanju Bazooka

I pick up this magazine from ishop2go.com after seeing them put up on the store. The Model Kit World is a Hong Kong toy magazine and been around for quite a while. Full color pages and this volume252 come with HGUC Sinanju bazooka.

In case you wonder, the plastic quality is okay. If you ever owned the HGUC Unicorn twin Gatling gun, it is the same. You can’t really ask for more on this book that only cost less than B$10.00 so it’s a nice addition for collections. I recommended picking one of these magazines if you see selling at any bookstore.

I’m not quite sure if you can find in Brunei today. I remember seeing them selling in Soon Lee KB book section but now no longer available there. Other places can be possible finding at Miri or in Malaysia.

My Kingston ValueRAM DDR3 1333 4GB Freebie!

Finally I received my Kingston ValueRAM DDR3 4 GB version memories ram from Kingston-Blog. It took me quite a while to decide which one to go. At first, I was thinking about getting 4GB for my ACER notebook. But after few thoughts and since it still under warranty. Maybe it’s best to get the desktop version instead because I am building FreeNAS soon once I got my stuffs.

Luckily I in no hurry stocking up the HDD at the moment. Lots of happening to the world and HDD price recently just shoot up because of the flood affecting in Thailand. Disaster really hurt the economy pretty bad. Hopefully the price might go down after Chinese New Year.

Yen Hit 60 Hard

Damn the Yen keep falling. HLJ just listed another crazy Gunpla sale until Nov 30 and I am still considering stocking it. There are many Gunpla I wanted to collect, when the foreign exchange rate falls like that I am much more willing to spend on US dollar rather Japanese Yen. I think best to hold my spending until Black Friday Sales. You won’t know might getting even lower rate.

Uh oh…..I’m in Trouble!

Yup, Trouble! I got myself into problem expressing my frustration issue and exposing the work place in my blog. Nothing secret, it just that I am invading the privacy and shouldn’t take any photos posting online or blog. So I have to delete it.

I do think the problem is expressing my issue at the work causing a stir, badly. It’s easily to track down who am I because I never put anonymous of myself. I even uploaded my own photo and beforehand improved the search engine of my blog post links when messing around, so nothing is secret and hiding.

Right now just waiting for something to happen since i went a bit overboard and kena poke LOL! XD I need to renew my documents as well.

PE-11 SFX Scouting Force X Camera Review

When I run a review on PE-01 Shadow Warrior last year, I impressed with the target master design and good articulation. The only downside is too expensive for such small toy which every collector had to reconsidering their spending budget.

If you haven’t follow up their latest product this year, the Perfect Effect had already released PE-03 to PE-10 with slightly cheaper and improvement over the PE-01. They are great, but I choose to get PE-11 SFX Scouting Force X Camera instead. I don’t feel disappointed my choice because this one is different, comes with cool weaponry and design.

Damn, I can’t wait to watch this movie. Even though I know the story since I own the DVD anime series in the past. I hope this time there will be ending to this and better.

Headhunting in Brunei? Nah…

There are a lot of speculating and brought up again from the past about headhunting news. Since the day I was born until parent divorce. I have been wandering around the KB town with my bike for 10 years at night and when started working until mid-night never get chase once. So what’s the deal with the rumors?

Take it as bullshit or whatever you wanted to call it but me going to be straight to the point. There is NO headhunting in Brunei. It was never ever happen and any photo surface showing single proofs a head in the bridge or currently in the construction. Many of my cousins and relatives are living in area far from the police stations since they were born and the easiest target. I never heard single news of their death, getting chase or words worrying their head cut off at home surround by forest. Government covers up? No such thing that this is small country can hide many things from us people.

Even if there are head hunters in Brunei, they are going to be end up dead. Why? Cars are affordable in here right now and half of us willing to call the police first before chasing them and ram the suckers to death, take it as accident. However this won’t be easy day for the local Iban because they are cultural link to it so the police will definitely start from there.

Let me explain Headhunting was part of the tradition and ritual by Dayak tribes. Apparently Iban was known as Sea Dayaks people who once practice it in previous generation. I’m sure many of you find it hard to believe. It’s true and even recorded participates in World War II beheading many Japanese army.

Brunei is now living in modern day so I don’t really believe our local Iban would practice such reckless culture and went off becoming head hunters. Unless they were crazy thinking they would become immortal. The only recorded last event is in Kalimantan 2001 because of rioting and religious conflicts. Brunei doesn’t have any so stop worrying getting your head cut off.

Da Ultimate AT Pest Repeller (Pest-Shop 3000AT) Result!

I was supposed to let you guys know if this pest repeller gadget work last month. But I forget to write after going through my posts and busy watching World War II history channel. It’s a good thing to see the long term results instead 9-14 days as mention. Anyway, does it really work?

For my room, yes, it works. I haven’t seen any lizards in my room making noise anymore and now stay outside. The ultrasound really does the trick, even not seeing any insects in my surrounding. Only ants does crawl into my room sometimes, not a big problem. It just I always forgot to bring the drinks and foods out of my room.

So lucky that I didn’t waste my $59.90 spending on something I’m not familiar. Although this things claim no effect on pets, but my dogs never stay or even sleep nearby my room outside. I kind of suspect probably they are somehow disturbed by this ultrasound. Nevertheless, I am happy able to sleep peacefully without getting disturb by the lizards.

Human is something we still don’t fully understand until today. If you remember reading news about two teenage boys raped and killed 18 years old girl before mutilating and burning her under the bridge last year. The writer at Vanity Fair (credit to Kotaku) went deeper discovering more horrible crimes those two boys past. The article is four pages so it going to takes time reading the whole.

I’m not quite sure what does this got to do with the online WoW games. Parents in the west should start whack their kids to understand what is right or wrong if they do terrible things in the young age.

In this photo, I brought two rare Alien Conquest (30141) and Creator (30024) from eBay. This is just a small collection and planning to get the ADU forces some upgrade next week.

As for this, well, these are the Transformers Micromaster weapon parts. It’s going to get expensive soon due to the economy so better grab it first before he price jumps higher.

I decided to spend some time updating my blogger pages. It will be much easier to find my latest toys review and Gunpla work listing. I thought long about having images to do the job. Somehow things weren’t going too good for me recently so better off doing it simple.

Anyway, I had done some major update to the reviews, reorganizing and updated the E-Shop database which going to include Lego 3^rd party makers too soon.

Man, just when I stop playing PSP and sold it off. I can’t believe so many new games continue to develop on the system. I am going to grab the PSP Vita no matter what this time.

Busy Thor

What a busy week after the lightning strike last few days ago. I have been working late dealing lots of problem with the computer hardware in my company even rushing my monthly maintenance services. So I got no time to write review for the Fansproject Backfiery which I got last week.

I’m not sure tomorrow planning working on a new Gunpla. Kinda feeling lazy and wanted to take some nap before writing new posts. But I do have to say the current hobby event displaying new Gunpla doesn’t seem to attract me much especially the Gundam Endless Walt and Age lines up.

It doesn’t mean I won’t buy them because I really in need of display shelves in my room which I previously unsuccessful getting one after pissed off by the sales lady at Court furniture KB. I probably am going to start looking for one soon and best to wait for more new upcoming HGUC release which I really hope see more HGUC Unicorn line up.

Well, I do ask you not to overlook on the 3^rd party toy these days. During the Victoria’s Ultimate Hobby and Toy fair showcase many great upcoming released soon and next year. I am stunned by the prototype and the upgrades for the Transformers display over there, for one like Maketoy. Though I do have to say it’s not going to be cheap. RGM79C GM Type C Wagtail “Demonstration Unit”

FINALLY DONE!!! Phew~! Quite a challenging upgrades kit to mess with. Without my sample backup, I won’t be able to learn and experiment better way to build it. Wagtail is really a gorgeous upgrade kit and many ways to mix into crazy GM variations type.

You guys already have seen many EFSF demonstration work in the internet and hobby magazine. I decided to go a bit different. The description does say AE next generation plan were rejected. This hit my mind turning into more prototype alike since I unsuccessful pulling off the shoulder beam sword modification.

My Wagtail doesn’t really look changes not by much. But thanks to Kotobukiya making a great support option parts, helps changing into shoulder thruster styling. The shield retain original with working detachable beam sword. For the lower part, I use back the type C. The overall looks pretty awesome and giving me more idea for the next work.

Blog Action Day 2011 – Food #BAD11

There is so much to say and we all know for sure present is different from the past. With the increasing populations around the world, we might encounter lack of food access in the future. Climate change and nature disasters can cause destructive to the habitats and locals food producers. Even dangerous chemicals were used today to grow fruits and vegetables that can affect serious health problem.

Although I never experience hunger and poverty or conflicts over foods living in Brunei, but focusing healthy lifestyle is priority and choosing right green foods are recommended. So in this year theme, I will write recommendation some important about green foods that have healing power.

Until today, I am struggle adjusting my daily foods menu and pushing myself eating green foods. I am too much in love on fast foods and fried meats every year like any teenagers nowadays. Well, human are good at eating anything and many don’t for certain type of foods. For instance, vegetable is never my love dishes and ended up depending on vitamin tablets. Things eventually change when I reach to adult age category.

Vegetable are not personal favorites of choice because they taste bad. Until today, I am trying force eating them. It doesn’t seem helping, for some reason my stomach rejects especially like the carrot. Luckily I can handle broccoli without problem including some (I don’t know its name). Too bad I am not good at eating carrots (Source) because it can fight against various cancers like lung, skin and oral cavity cancers. So far I discover drinking them in soup does cure my eating habit. According to the studies, daily intake is recommended.

As for broccoli (Source), it is well known for most powerful weapons that can prevent cancer and helps the building of bones with rich source of all sorts of vitamins (E, A, C, K, B6). If you are not good at eating it, better change your mind now.

Yeah, I know it’s not enough if I just eat few vegetables. To keep myself more balance, I take fruits daily as much possible. Usually I take apple every day after lunch at work to keep away from doctors. Sometimes banana (Source) after back from work but it makes me fart a lot and make my stomach funny going to toilet every day. You can’t deny banana has natural remedy that can prevent number of illness.

Kiwi fruit is one of my favorite, it’s not cheap but delicious and best known suppliers good vitamin C and K. Not only that, it can prevents Asthma, wheezing and coughing, especially in children. Also protects our DNA from mutations and a healthy amount of antioxidants and vitamins. Even helps prevent colon cancer thanks to high fiber content in it. RGM79C Wagtail ‘EFSF Demonstration Type’ W.I.P

The sanding and panel lining were done yesterday. Only few more parts left to go before spraying prime this week. I am right to have a straight built GM Wagtail sample (photo above) for backup. It really does help me a lot on learning during the work progress and assembling. Yeah, I busted few parts again for experiment because the beam swords storage is the most challenging to work on.

Investing a Dream Home for Fresh Graduate?

The article really posed a funny question and yet interesting talk about better investment plan from the folks at Primeland Estate can offer. I am haunted without home and even impossible to invest a house 9 years now. So how the fresh graduate capable of doing that? Not unless they are from rich family or had huge saving and middle working class with 3-4k salary per month.

The article didn’t really describe much how this plan going to work. Maybe attending the exhibition could help you more understanding their plans. I didn’t, but instead went to HSBC bank to look for the home loan specialists on Thursday for advice on investing a home by taking a day off. It was worth it and able to learned better including avoiding future risks. He says, don’t be fool by the bank brochure that thinking getting home loan are easy like cars.

First he asked me how much deposit money I can manage to work out together with my family. Is my saving in the bank are enough to cover. This is very important planning steps and require large amount of money be ready to cover the costs during work processing. Yes, you are not even yet in the investment phase. If this is your emergency use funds, you also needed to think twice hard and careful on the spending.

During the processing, you are requiring depositing at least $5k into the bank depending on the house developing price you planning to buy. After that, you need pay the home insurance around $1.5K depending on your current ages and how many persons involve in the investments. Then you need to ready at least $4k for approval stuffs and letters from law. Total amount require for stand by at least $9K ready.

Secondly, they require your monthly salary details and any current loan. For average working class like me, forget about new car loan and let say my mom has good income who is working. Still, it’s not even possible to finance monthly and after the deduction I only have $50 dollar LEFT per month or a little more including adding my sister into the investment. Both of us are not going to survive that in one week.

There are ways to reduce that strain is to put down 70k-100k deposit. That way, the monthly loan will be lower. Another way which suggest by many investment expert is too rented out the apartment or houses to people cover the monthly loan for you. Saying is easy, but in reality, the problem here is I don’t even have that kind of money, not even today able to save $500 into the bank saving yearly. Even if I choose not to buy toys, travels and stop spending. You are going to make your life miserable and stupid.

Again, not yet finish. Once your bank loan is approved, the developer or sales will provide documents and for the signing. However, there is one page you need to take note called progressive payment. Here is one of the documents I got from the developer as per your info and example how it might looks like below.

The payment is schedule as per the work progress in the following order: -

• 1st progress payment - 10% Signing of Sale and Purchase Agreement and Lease Agreement
• 2nd progress payment - 10% Completed footings and stumps, ground floor columns & beams, ground floor slabs, electrical conduit, drainage piping systems
• 3rd progress payment - 15% Completed first floor columns & beams, electrical conduit, drainage piping systems
• 4th progress payment - 15% Completed roof covering roof beams and trusses
• 5th progress payment - 15% Completed finishing on brick walls, windows and doors frame
• 6th progress payment - 10% Completed finishing on ceiling filling, doors and windows
• 7th progress payment - 10% Completed finishing on ceiling filling, doors and windows
• 8th progress payment - 10% Completed clearing of site, removal of all unnecessary materials, site inspection by relevant parties
• 9th progress payment - 5% Collection of Occupational Permit and keys of house

What do these means? It means you are going to pay every progress when the developers completing each phases during the construction. Since you are applying home loan from the banks, don’t think you are getting 100% of these loan. Yes, you heard that right, the bank only will provide 80% and the 20% left is you to cover it, not them. Let say if I buy a semi-detach house cost BND$198,000. I have to pay BND$39,600 (20%) for the first and second progress payment with my own pocket money. Oh and don’t forget you paying the monthly loan as well.

Many people didn’t realize of such issue which is why from the beginning you needed ready at least $70-100k in your pocket. So this pose a big question how the fuck the fresh graduates are possible to invest a home if they are average working class with 1K+ salary? Yes, you can work this out with your sibling. Shit could happen either out of jobs, died on accidents or couldn’t afford the loans.

Are there any 70-90k apartments and semidetached house in Brunei? No there isn’t any selling at that kind of price and only the National housing have that, of course subsidies by His Majesty and never let PR to apply.

This is why I find the news article stupid and funny. Okay, maybe the investment plan only mostly works for the middle working class and rich people. By the time I saved up that kind of money, I am already long dead before owning a house or apartment in Brunei. If you are studying in overseas and completed University diploma, stay and start a good challenge life there especially if you are PR. I see fresh graduate comes in and out of Brunei because many of them know it’s impossible to invest something when the pay is so low and that’s reality that the standard of living here is also slowly rising.

Gundam TR-1 Advance Hazel II Sniper Custom

Ha! My first Advance of Zeta Gunpla! The result of mix and match Hazel II Sniper Custom unit does make him so heavy type. It just too bad I don’t own any Dengeki Hrududu parts. Otherwise it going to look good compare to the current. I did find a site selling the parts in resin version. The price wasn’t pretty bright and best to forget it.

Fansproject – CA-04 Stormbomb Review

Stormbomb was the fourth released of the Causality series by Fansproject. The fifth (or last) Backfiery is now pending for release in October worldwide. Gundam TR-1 Hazel II Sniper Custom–W.I.P

This is the Hazel Sniper Custom I am working on this month. There won’t be any modifications since most of the Advance of Zeta Gunpla lines are mix and match. I am expecting to finish this Sunday and jump start working on Federation Wagtail demonstration unit.

Reapplying Brunei Lost Land

Too busy lately and stress cleaning up my mom mess for preparing papers and letter for reapplying the lost land. Never ever believe any dumbass says you are automatically transferred to new land or the Government letter you didn’t receive should be ignore. You should always inquiries the status of your land application monthly and make sure the letter reach you.

My mom Sg Teraban land was already terminated by the BSP without knowing anything for three years. The letter didn’t arrive and stuck in the file. Three years late is totally a big blow to us and now no one knows if PR still able to get any land to build houses anymore. We can’t apply for national housing or even finding semi-detach housing that are affordable.

I don’t know what to do anymore so decide to drop by the land department and inquire for any possible way to apply for housing. As long you are not holding yellow IC, there are no solutions. Unless you are rich then those are definitely not going to be hard life.

The chief lady told me to tried reapply in the land department again. In case we might get land in Lumut. There’s a catch and needed a lot of procedures which also needed the Pengulu signature or recommendation. So it’s tricky situations going there and there. What I dislike one thing is buying the form gets silly question. It appears not many locals are please when I trying to apply for lands.

First respond I ever get hit by is what for applying for land when there are no more for you? That was harsh or way of attacking me in the morning. Not only that, she started asking me if I got the Pengulu approval letters to get the form. I was huh? As far my conversation with the chief, it never mention anything about require getting approval letter first before buying the form. I do not believe there are such procedure asking goes there and there.

It is obvious some kind of direct attack stopping me getting the form. I don’t really care much their behaviors and wasting time on pay back. I am worrying sick without getting any land for building our own family house. My mom already got cheated by the friends and wasted 10k on missing land already that no longer able to get any refund. I want to do this right and need good respond from the Government how they going to deal with this.

CA-04 Stormbomb and Warpath Arrived!

Pick up today. Same as usual pre-order at RK and another free Transformers Movie trading card collection pack. As many who still don’t know, the Casualty CA-04 Stormbomb comes with Thrudershred full shuriken replacement which is great addition. Review going to up soon once I done the photo shooting. Interestingly also, the Stormbomb dairy card mention something about a traitor Stardust. Could it be another upcoming Fansproject next project planning for next year?

Toys “R” Us Open in Brunei

Many great joy and cheers finally seeing Toys “R” Us open in Brunei. Last Sunday I (with sis and cousin) went over there after sending my mom and nephew to the airport. The location isn’t really friendly finding for KB folks. I did remember how to get there in the past (5-6 years) but needed to drive around to recall the way.

The place occupied almost half the blocks and sees tons of toys there. Damn, what a wonderland for me. But what are cost of the toys there? Seriously I don’t know if it would be correct comparing to Miri branch? My cousin can answer since he brought many toys over there. According to him, yes, most of the toys here are cheaper around 5-7+. It may not be much because you can’t compare the current high exchange rate for ringgit.

So did I get anything there? Well, I choose Lego City 4 in 1 Super Pack currently sold for BND$39.90. I was thinking about going for Nerf Stampede which price at $79.90 with extra free bullet pack. Thanks to my carelessness overly order Gunpla last month. I have to limit my budget spending for this month.

It just too bad I haven’t seen any Lego Space Defense Force Alien Conquest there yet even not seeing any Transformers Reveal the Shield. Probably because just open not long ago so may be more coming sooner I hope. Not sure if we might expect seeing Toy “R” Us exclusive toy there or not. If there are, man I am going to drive up there to hunt more toys since I got a membership card during my purchase.

For your information, you must spend more than BND$50.00 to be eligible getting free membership card. The card are usable in Asia no matter which Toy “R” Us branch you visit. If you got the card from Miri, you can also use it there.

Speak Up on Tragedy Photos

There are a lot of (pointless) opinions and complains lately on Brunei Times newspaper regarding the photos published on 7^th September news about the Muslim family girls in car accident at school. The readers are unhappy because the photos are either disrespectful or whatever they can think of and even call it cultural sensitivity problem at Twitter.

Honestly, neither I see anything wrong in the photo nor do I find anyway that insults the Muslim family. That just my personal opinions and rest of the locals are mixed to this issue. Most important question of all, did the family agree the photos can be published by the BT newspaper on that day? According to them, yes, the family gave permission to the photographers to go ahead. End of story.

Since I involved in the discussion, I decided to ask around Malay colleagues today and let those sees the BT news photos. I did point out is it the photo shows the body of the girl that make them feel too sensitive’s and disrespectful to the family? They didn’t find that is the problem and as long the families allow BT publishing on the newspaper. Of course they are some find disturbing and unable to describe what makes them feel uncomfortable after looking at the photos.

Photos can mean anything. It just the discussions sometimes went overboard even involving culture sensitively issue which I find it really stupid. So it’s pointless continue debating who is right or wrong and give the family a break.

The Worst Nightmare Having iPad 2 3G

Sometimes owing an iPad 2 3G are convenient for browsing the internet and download application directly. However, bad thing do happen if you are not very careful. Never mind about the Foursquare app (or others) in your phones or tablets which many of you already know telling others where you at. But the worst part is paying high price on your 3G phone bills which is the shittiest financial blow to your life.

My mom and nephew flew back here not long ago. Apparently they bring along the iPad 2 3G version with them because my nephew is so stubborn wanted to play games. What they didn’t realize is the Singtel services are continue charging the roaming fee mad after they arrived in Brunei. Totally a big nightmare to my brother after realizing the Sim card didn’t pull out from the device. The charging kept jumping to S$2000+.

Some of you may suggest turning on the flight mode or switching off the sim mode are going to stop the roaming. Let me tell you IT DOESN”T WORK. I have no idea what online applications did my sister-in-law installed in the iPad 2. These applications are doing something silly by turning on the sim mode automatically in the setting without realizing.

I double check the setting and yes, it was fully off. But my brother still calling back to turn off the iPad 2 because according to the Singtel, it is continues charging. I choose the best option to solve this issue by taking out the sim card completely.

My brother is entirely now in a fury mode. I understand his situation due to the rise on taxes and increase standard of living in Singapore. Well, they both are going to get scolded when getting back there this week badly. Nonetheless, this is very important lesson not to forget taking out the sim card if you are using service plan before going for vacations. Otherwise, better off using prepaid card for safer way if you are forgetful person or just get non 3G iPad 2 instead.

TFCC Membership Exclusive Toy 2011 – Side Burn

Side Burn is this year Transformers Collectors’ Club member incentive exclusive toy. As many of you know, Side Burn is none other a redeco version of Rodimus. It just sad that doesn’t come with any art box. At the same time, the wing tail was bent 90 degree during the arrival.

It’s not serious, luckily. But I am really disappointed how the staff’s at TFCC pack my toy without any single foam or bubble plastic inside the box before shipping out from the US. It is so hard to find left over or recycle foam stuff over there are somehow puzzling me. No one can imagine how the folks going to replace if the toy comes in damage.

Anyway, the redeco Side Burn doesn’t come with disappointment on the paint application. Although I did discover some area did not done properly on the painting. He still turns out really details and looks different with Rodimus, only thing is just too bad not getting any new head treatment. Hopefully Fansproject might release new TFX Protector for Side Burn in the future. *Click read more for more photos.

HGUC Gundam Unicorn with Head Display

Again, I messed up with the lining. It seems like I really have to stop applying too much lining into the all Gunpla kits. Even though it doesn’t stand out too much from the distance but I still find it disappointed. This is the mistake I always made not researching other modeler painting works loh.

Anyway, I didn’t include the bazooka because it would be nice having it on destroy mode. So instead I give a pair of DX Hobby Gatling gun. I think having another one holding on the hand to make it triple. Things weren’t always going according to the plan when the weapon holder is too small to hold. Well there goes for the China cheap quality products.

Fansproject: CA-03 Thundershred Review

Thundershred is the third released Causality 2011 series from FansProject. As you may know, the CA-01 Warcry and CA-02 Flameblast are just a redeco from the previous Crossfire series with different face and weapon parts. Basically the same mold so I decided to skip the first two released due to the unacceptable price I felt and better focus my attention on the CA-03 to CA-05.

Tokyo Toy Shows 2011: Transformers United Darkside Exclusive Version

This is a Tokyo Toy Show 2011 Transformers United Darkside Prime and Megatron exclusive toy. If you are Transformers collectors, you really shouldn’t miss this one. Why? It only cost US$59.90 (for now) which is the exactly the two United price. This is US$20 cheaper compared to the last exclusive Dreadwing and Smokescreen.

The paintings for both are so good especially Megatron is the best. I really love these two and really wanted to take them out of the box. But after seeing my room filling up with toys and junks, I think better off living them in there.

I don’t think I need to do review because they were basically the same toy and mold. This one simply just evil redeco version with good high quality paint job. Don’t miss out this one if you haven’t get one while the price still remain the same.

HLJ August Order 2011

Fucking HLJ, they shipped out my stuff too early for this month! Damn, now I am totally broke. If they shipped out on September I may able to hold out until October. Arggg…wrong calculation on the timing, dammit!

I did however this time went overboard purchasing so many Gunpla. Some of them actually wasn’t in my wish lists but needed some parts from every each of them. Most of them are from the promotions and some don’t, especially the two Advance of Zeta kits. I wanted to get them a long time ago so decided to add together in the orders.

We Are Atheism Campaign

To be honest, I have no idea how many Atheists are in Brunei nowadays. But I decided to speak out to all my family and friends. This is going to be ugly, hate, attacks and causing criticisms around me because all peoples I know are religious and believers except my big brother. No matter what happens, truth doesn’t hurt.

I already start promoting in my Facebook profile and see what kind of results I might get from the feedback. Of course I already am receiving unhappy comments from some of my Christian friends. Well, let see how it goes. Don’t feel ashamed. It’s up to you what you believe and disagreeing my view or the rest of the world.

Dengeki and Hobby Japan Limited Goodies Spotted

In case you guys missed collecting exclusive upgrade FG 1/144 Full Saber IV, XN update (for O Raiser) and GN Sefer previously on the hobby magazine. No worry, it is now currently available at online Samuel Decals and HM Shops. Do note that this is limited quantities available and comes with no magazines.

The price is okay and quite affordable comparing to the eBay sellers. I’m not sure myself might getting some since until now I haven’t builds them yet. The most interesting news from HM Shops FB is that the seller will be bringing 1/100 Full Saber VI version into the store. No details yet if this is made of quality plastic or resin. For sure I am eyeing on it.

Man I wish they would remake or produced back the Advance of Zeta Hazel upgrade. It really suck I missed those two.

Gunpla - MG Gundam Exia

Straight build with led lighting. Took me at least three days building and spray painting. The runners are not that many so much easier and faster to build. But hate to say it require to folk out extra B$8.00 batteries just only two led parts. Imagine working on MG Gundam OO with five led parts. You are going to spend at least $18.00 for the batteries on the led parts which is quite waste of money.

Well, depending on the builders. But I won’t spend again the led parts in the future unless I plan on working diorama.
