Applying Citizenship Examination Halt?

Today is a good and sunny day. It's time to speak up and wondering what had happened to the Brunei citizenship this year? Since I took the examination last year, the result won't be out between June or July (as much I know). But my friends and colleagues who took the examination two years ago, the result is not yet even announce or mention until today.

What's going on? There are no newspaper reports, many speculations around and rumors. The only thing I heard something has happens inside the Government over the Citizenship system. Majority of them are baseless except one so far I recently found out that this month the registration is officially stopped in KB when one of my friend sister tried to applied two weeks ago. I'm not really sure if numbers hit the target limit and they never explain why. Still, for others who waited for two years, it definitely suck and wanted to know the answer when the Government going to announce the result.

To be honest, I don't really understand how can the governments able to delay the result for years, seriously. If the whole nation primary and secondary students can get their result within 3-4 months. There is no way less than thousand of Permanent Residents (including the retake) papers require more than a year to settle. This is just ridiculous and unbelievable system in Brunei. There are even trials and require us to wait at least another 2-3 years to get call for fully register citizenship only if we pass. everything else falling into the hand of waiting game and test us if we are going to leave the country.

It’s sad that we have to suck it up and move on. I also fully well aware some locals who work in the governments doesn't like us getting the citizenship either. I encounter of such persons and it weren’t easy to deal with. I really hope HM do something and improve this citizenship system situations. But I afraid it’s not happening because this country are changing and heading weird direction.

Raging Rain! STOP PLEASE!!!

From last year until now, all we get is rain. This is getting freaking bad like we might expecting something surprise this year. I really hope we won't get shower with tiny ice blocks from the sky because I ever experience this event before at northern Thailand in the past. People say it won't. Hey, global warming is happening.

Floods are without doubt the most primary concern issues in Brunei. Some places already suffer a huge damage and landslide especially in Tutong and Temburong. KB so far happen on certain areas and my place are lucky at the moment. But if the rains keeps going, no one for sure know what might going to happen next when the crocodile already start visiting. You just got to prepare and careful.

Apart from being unable to get my clothes dry, I am much more worry having water falls into my room. I did a repair two years ago sealing up the damage aluminum foils and lay some plates on top of the ceiling roof to prevent damages in case of waters came through the metal roofs. It's been so many years so it's hard to tell if there are any rust outsides. I just hope it don’t get worsen as now I am damn broke and try not to spend.

A Crap New Year Starts

Anyone expecting a new year to be good start for January. Not me, shit have been happening non stop and trying to avoid as much as possible doesn't seem to work. My anger limits went off last week because I encounter unbelievable things caught my attention and hugely disappointed over no improvement worker at workplace. Yeah, the guy I complain non-stop in the past.

Let's talk about this same guy again we hired on year 2012. To my surprise, he continues to perform like shit and didn't learn how to use common sense ever since. Even though I tried stopping myself scolding him last year and giving him more time to self improve. It was entirely a big mistake and wasted my nine months teaching a useless person who doesn't think of correcting mistake itself. The worst part, he continues to stuck with same repeated working behaviours and just looking at one direction.

So far the only things he gained from learning are skipping the problem. That pisses me off badly after I caught him doing so often because such action actually increases outstanding problems and make users angrier by forcing them direct to my management. Not only that, my colleagues and I had to be the one to clean up his fucking messed. I never told him that he needs to 100% to know everything. If he can't do it all he need just to note it down and report to us. Simple task, yet never do but continue to keep quiet and forgets about it.

This is why my anger went off last week because my boss is the cause of this result as he turns blind on this matter from the days I raise concern of the new guy performance and require extend probation period. It was hugely disappointed outcome not listening its employee suggestions. Of course this is not only the issue I have problem with so far, but somewhat unbelievable shits I don't want to talk about. But I am waiting for confirmation and hopefully it happens sooners so I can get out of this fucking mess.
